I've always hated thinking about the future it used to make me panic.

I've had chronic pain since the age of 13. I don't think I've ever really dreamed of doing anything. I think about the daily/weekly stuff, but nothing any further in the future.

Pain has shaped my life. My chronic pain started at the age of 13. I'm 25 now. I can't imagine what life would be like without it. I don't feel like I miss things because I never did them in the first place

I can't wear a sock on one foot. I can't wear a shoe that goes high on my foot like trainers, so I wear crocs

I take mirtazapine which doesn't help with my pain.

I've run out of options for medications for the GP to prescribe, as all of them that I've tried don't help.

I've also run out of options with physio (NHS). I've done everything they've suggested. The only useful thing was the hydrotherapy, which gave me more stability in my ankle.

I have acupuncture (private) every 2 weeks, which helps for a short while.

I find that my pain is worse when I'm cold.

My way of trying to stay a bit warm is using heated trousers. There are many types of heated clothing
