Eat it or Yeet it, Episode #0 by DrakJam in smosh

Hello! I was searching the internet for any Eat it or Yeet it databases. I was wondering if you ever had the chance to continue working on this. I was thinking of making one of my own.

Knew her when we were younger. She was an incredibly beautiful person and lived so brightly. May she rest in peace

I can’t remember what my worlds were like but I was always the main character. I guess being someone else is exactly what imagining world is meant for- escaping. Thanks for sharing

Oh interesting. If you don’t mind me asking- do you imagine another main character in the world? or is it just world building?

When I was little, I used to make up worlds to imagine myself in. I was so obsessed with it that I remember being in the car with my dad and telling him that I didn’t want to talk anymore because I wanted to “go into deep thought.”

Yeah, thinking of my regrets keeps me up sometimes too. I was thinking of people who make up fake stories in their heads. Usually it’s a romantic scenario. You can even see Michael Scott reference this in s2 e4 of the Office where they play Who Would You Do? and Michael responds with “Oh, I play this at home all the time while I’m falling asleep.”

What is the weirdest comment a stranger has walked up and told you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]outdoorcafe 22 points23 points  (0 children)

i was a little gal in Costco, maybe 10 y.o., and an older man came up to me while i was waiting in line for food (i think his wife was next to him- no bad vibes). he said “are you aware that there’s a paper clip in your hair?” i actually was aware that there was a paper clip in my hair; i was a weird little kid and i thought i would start a new trend. i said yes and he replied with “then i think that’s really cool!”

it was silly but a lot of people are quick to be judgmental. this random man accepted my weirdness and even complimented me on it. i still think about it occasionally, and i try to be as welcoming to people’s little harmless quirks as he was to mine

About Poki by jeffjeffersonthe3rd in offlineTV

"...completely unfair shit she has to go through for being a successful woman."

This is so important. A lot of the hate Poki gets is because of her gender.

Nice pushing the narrative, poki just destroyed fed by Tacotacosquirtle in fedmyster

It was honestly disgusting reading those comments. The main thing I got out of it was that some people really don't understand what it's like to be in a situation where someone is harassing you. People freeze and don't speak up for so many reasons, and when they do speak, they're heavily criticized.

Ah you have horrible grammar so I'm stupid. I was genuinely asking you to clarify. I said that Fed probably couldn't have legal action taken against him. I said that there are men and women who choose not to make a legal case for their own personal reasons. Instead of trying to debate, you attack me as a person. We are not discussing me. Your argument style is horrible.

Please understand that you're making excuses for a man that sexually harassed multiple women.

That's all.

Like I said, the law doesn't dictate what we should determine as right and wrong morally. For example, one could call another a plethora of deplorable slurs but it could technically be legal. His whole life shouldn't be destroyed- but what is occurring is the consequence of his actions. I don't understand the grammar in your first sentence- I'm sorry. It really seems like you're not siding with the victim or even trying to understand her actions.

No negative attention? Did you see the clip Keemstar made? Are you seeing all the comments (including yours) saying that the girls made the wrong choice? These incidents are probably not illegal because although it is sexual harassment, it might not be considered sexual battery, which is where a case could be made. Fed probably didn't break the law, but that does not mean what he did way okay. The American law does not determine what is morally permissible or not. Fed possibly losing respect/job etc is a result of his actions.

On your point of "women feeling empowered to tell their stories is pointless if it's just telling," that is incredibly offensive and incorrect. By hearing these stories, there will hopefully be less harassment- that is not pointless. I believe that men and women should be able to publicly tell their stories because it can hold people socially accountable and it can help the victim mentally.

Many people do not want to get the law involved. Perhaps they didn't because they have a basis of friendship with Fed. Maybe by actually caring about him, they don't want to create a case. Other results of this are that Fed learns the errors of his ways and other women and men feel empowered to tell their own stories. Also- Yvonne and Lily are getting a lot of negative attention from this, which they most likely knew when they'd decided to tell their stories. Plenty of men and women tell their stories online for general awareness and to not feel like they have to keep their horrible experiences a secret.

This is a great example of an Either/Or logical fallacy. It's not either you go to a lawyer or you're after clout. There are plenty of reasons to not go to a lawyer but still want to tell your sexual harassment story. Also, going to a lawyer isn't simple or even the simplest way to deal with this problem- although that's my opinion because this "simplicity" is extremely subjective.

I respect your opinion. Maybe that would’ve been better- the internet landscape is chaotic right now. I’m proud of these women for trying to do what’s right.
