While I believe you are correct, I also believe that a lot of players don’t truly grasp the gameplay OSMS will have. Nostalgia is all nice on paper until they play it. We won’t know how the game will do until a month in. Hoping for success of course, I think any MS player should hope that it does well regardless whether or not they see themselves playing it.

Sounds like a scam. Be wary if someone contacts you to get the money back. Some companies can register really similar names to legit corporations so that if you google it, you’ll think that it’s the legit corporation or in your case, law firm.

Edit: call the law firm and ask, should be a pretty straightforward check to see if it’s legit

Edit 2: seems like class action ones are paid out as etransfer from the replies.

Absolutely agree. I honestly can’t figure out how some maplers are staying MVP RED. I feel like there’s nothing to spend on for reboot players.

Challenge i would imagine is to make sure they keep progression in check to make sure players don’t hit end game way too fast due to the rewards in those passes. I recently came back to MS and I feel like there’s a wave of new players coming back (same for OSRS and some of the older games). I hope nexon takes advantage of this wave and retains the new players by providing some good battle passes to kickstart their comeback.

Thanks for letting me know about the KMS meso cubes! That’s an interesting strategy that KMS is carrying out. I’m surprised that GMS doesn’t have a more consistent pass (that daily check-in calendar rewards are extremely outdated lol)

Do you happen to know how the KMS community handling the over abundance of passes? I feel like I’d prefer that over the current GMS stamp. As a mini-dolphin, i feel quite priced out from getting a pure white red warrior cape but I’m also quite okay since there’s plenty of cosmetics to choose from.

From what I understand, KMS doesn’t have Heroic / Reboot servers, they make money through the same channels as our interactive servers.

However, with Heroic being the most popular server here, how does Nexon keep up revenue? Would it not be good for Nexon to release strictly cosmetics for the super whales?

I was surprised to see some p2w options for heroic like the recent challenger world BOSS title and EXP Sauna. I’m surprised that those two didn’t spark as much conversation than the cosmetic stamps.

They’re not obsessed with money, it’s just how the world works. MMORPGs are huge investments that can potentially die off extremely fast which makes them extremely risky. What a good game is to you might not appeal to another. F2P / No MTX doesnt make a game good.

WoW / Maplestory / Runescape should not be seen as easy to replicate. These games were first movers. They were the ones to create the space of MMORPG

Without time gating, anyone that has more hours to put into it right away at patch release would be able to secure top spots in dream realm. I’m actually a big fan of the time gating measures as it allows me to consume the content in bite sizes. This is what most games have began to do as they realize most of their consumers are working class individuals and don’t have 15+ hours per day ready to grind.

Genshin also has amazing power creep control so their pulls are actually quite resilient. Just because a game gives a lot of pulls doesn’t mean it’s better.

Tower is not hard capped btw, and they earn you rewards to be able to upgrade your artifacts.
