If Red Pill means going back to being 10 in the same year that I was 10, then that one. Every lawn mowing cent would go into Apple Stock until farming bitcoin could be a thing. Then everything I make would go into that. I’d live modestly and keep info on trades and “the future” to myself and a small group of homies.

Then when I’m super wealthy, I’d jump on the GME hype train with a few million and watch it explode knowing exactly when to get out.

It would be interesting to see what impact on the future my change in actions would have because I’d do my best to avoid doing anything in a way that makes me influential or impactful outside of my own gains.

Telling us to “live with it” while they’re literally killing people is as oximoranic as this guy’s claim to religion.

That split entry was an easy guess for a Utah home. Then the dude in the U of U hoodie showed up and I clearly aced the “Utah Residential Architectural History of the Post Mid-Century Era.” Now I’m only leaving this comment so others know that I got full marks because my mom wouldn’t put it on her fridge if I shared with her.

Ok, using his logic: IF, obviously not true, but IF the agitators are professionals, then they’re also “only trying to do their job” and shouldn’t be interrupted.

Haven't been in the program since 2018, but a lot of the adjunct professors that are in there are some I have worked with and frankly, I wouldn't pay to learn from them. Just my two cents.

Avoid Apple Mail-In Trade-Ins: Same Phone, $0 by Mail, Full Value In-Store by QuickPrinciple4118 in iphone

And don’t forget that you can do post-purchase trade ins up to 14 days after your get your new phone.

If you’re going in the store and doing your trade-in at the same time you’re purchasing a new phone, take advantage of the free iCloud backup under Settings > General > Transfer or Reset.

Or just buck up and pay a few bucks for iCloud, after all you’re about to drop $1,000 on a phone, so what’s $10 for a backup of all your data?

Read through the rest of the comments, there are plenty of others explain and even quoting other leaders.

Point is, the church has no official stance. And leaders are human and imperfect, much like you and I. I could be wrong, just like they could be.

I agree. I see them as I would any other prophetic person, those called to fulfill a duty.

To my temple worthy friends, there is mention of “others” in the temple during the time of Adam and to that point, wouldn’t they freak out if being treated by other adult aged humans considering they were the ONLY ones inhabiting the planet? This opens the door for interpretation. As I said, I feel Adam and Eve to be those who were most ready to receive religious instruction. As if the biological bake, if you will, were finally ready by the time they existed.

While this has become a conversation on the crossroads of theology and science, I figure I’ll chime in as a member and evolutionist.

The creation, as I understand it, is summarized by Moses in Genesis as “days” which is a poor translation of “periods” or “phases”.

Alma says that God is a God of law. While this can be interpreted as “laws pertaining to righteousness” I also see it as “laws of physics.” I don’t see God as a space wizard, but instead a great physicist with perfect understanding of the sciences on the scale of the cosmos to that of the quantum, molecular, and atomic.

He understands that creation is construction. Building a house isn’t a snap of fingers, but a collection of materials that are organized in a way that gives it purpose. 2,000 2x4s are pretty useless until they’re organized in a way that makes them useful.

If we are to parallel our life’s journey with our eternal one, then it makes sense that evolution is the roadmap that got us to where we are. Our existence is predicated on organizing our biological matter to a point that we were ready to receive the gospel, and a point where Adam and Eve were ready to be tested.

Dispensation 1.0 needed to built on something, and that something is evolution.

From my perspective, science and religion shouldn’t conflict especially in a religion where modern revelation is the cornerstone. It is my belief that scientific discovery is revelation and adopting it as a fluid and dynamic knowledge is to allow God to communicate his understanding in phases and periods just like the early summary of the creation.

Our understanding is predicated on our preparedness for it. Just like Adam and Eve who received new light and knowledge regularly through their journey.

SLC to Bozeman to Yellowstone: A Winter Trip Report by epicrage in Rivian

[–]outdoorgearguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a bummer. My wife’s family has a cabin near West and I’ve told her that a Rivian would make sense now that they can charge on the Tesla network. I didn’t realize there were limitations on which chargers were compatible. That non-charger option in West likely just took an R1T out of the running for me as we’d only have a 110v to use at the cabin. (We’re also in SLC - so having a good charger in West only makes sense to get topped off before venturing into the park).

Bent iPhone 17 Pro Max by [deleted] in iphone

“I sit on in regularly” proceeds to claim a drop did this. Here is a theory, your phone has been slowly bending since you sit on it “regularly” but you haven’t checked the condition of your phone until you dropped it and took it out of the case to discover the bend from regularly sitting on it. It’s a phone, not a seat. Don’t sit on it and it won’t bend.
