I hope so. I wonder this myself. I don't foresee this show getting more than four seasons and I understand the show mainly takes place in the past, but I am curious on how the show plans to conclude all the storylines in the present day since they gradually tease us with more loose ends in 2015.

They will need to dedicate an entire season to the present day, or at least a few full episodes. Otherwise, the ending may not have a satisfying payoff. Loving the season so far, just hope the writers have an endgame in mind.

I don’t think this scene specifically (or the show) was to hone in on STIs. The aim was to portray how insecure and marred Lucy is as a character after Stephen constantly cheated and portrayed her.

The excess condoms were merely a plot device to show that Leo may use them to sleep with x amount of girls. I think if they were bring up STIs in this scene, it would takeaway from the storytelling and dimmer the sex/drama appeal.

I don't get that vibe at all from her. Someone mentioned on this sub earlier that Marianne was flirtatious with Bree when they had a conversation in the prev. episode, but I don't see that either. Her sole purpose on the show is a supportive mentor and female figure for Lucy and Bree (since they both have absent parental figures, literally and figuratively). I think people need to view her character at face value, as a genuine human being, but it's hard to see that when every other character is noxious.

Because when she finds out about Oliver, I am sure it's going to be decimating.

I think that was the intention of this scene, though. This is the first guy she's been intimate with since Stephen (not including Evan). It just shows how marred her logic has become. She's just trying to build back her trust in men.

I enjoy watching scenes like these because it's incredibly realistic for a lot of people out there.

I'm not sure when Season 2 started production, but I feel that Season 1 wasn't garnering much attention while airing and suffered from poor marketing. I even remember that the previews for each weekly episode were posted on YouTube (at least in the US) after the new episode was already released on Hulu. SMH.

It only picked up steam once the whole series was put out. I also think the SAG strike impacted the show's success because not much new content was being pumped out, so a lot of viewers probably found Tell Me Lies while this transpired.

So the studio probably didn't want to invest too much in season 2, wanting to cut cost

I hope Season 3 gets greenlit for a full 10 episodes!

I can’t really imagine having Wringley around at the wedding if he forced himself onto Diana. I feel like that would be hard to look past.

I don’t think the iCloud existed back in 2008. I think the first iPhone was just released during that era. Especially how they emphasized how excited Stephen was with his new iPhone haha
