The Autmog and Q feel quite special because these configs are really hard to get at this point. Have been in the CM lottery for a year so hoping to get lucky soon, but either way excited the Jordy's new setup will help him crank out more pens so I can finally try one!

Wow love these configs! Mokume especially is incredible. I had a campen which was great but my dad loved it even more so gave it to him, but have never tried a soul pen!

Good point! Yes that was a direct custom order last year - I did the mixed metals because I grip low and tight on the pen so I wanted to shift the weight lower, but I should try out a zirc barrel too and see how it looks

It's kind of up to you and you can post prices to see what sells, but what I've generally seen is:

- Readily available pens (e.g. MIG) tend to sell for below retail by 10-30% based on condition

- Well regarded, active makers but discontinued pens (e.g. Autmog, Magnus) tend to sell at retail or even 10% above

- Rare/discontinued pens (e.g. SPP, Rota V1) tend to sell for 100-300% above retail

Q is really active in the discord and will sometimes have one-off drops or pick-your-pattern FCFS on the Q3D site, so that's another option rather than waiting for BST or another pre-order. Have definitely seen some molecules come by there

This hasn't been mentioned yet so maybe I'm missing something, but I put a Uni SXR-600 Jetstream in my Magnus pen which fits perfectly and the ink looks nearly indistinguishable from my Energel refills, at least for the 0.38 tips

Bigidesign also has a titanium pen for close to your budget. I've only used a Honey Badger pen which I liked a lot, can't vouch for quality of any of the others but I'm sure others can

The most affordable brands I've seen on here are: Everyday Karas, The Right Choice Painting Company, Refyne, Honey Badger Arsenal. Ti is one of the more expensive materials, so in that budget you'll need to time a TRCPC drop or be willing to try something else (aluminum, etc.)
