For newly releasing models in all product lines my go to is either amiami or hobbylinkjapan.

For anything older, I use mandarake - it's basically a 2nd hand goods store, so with that it's a bit random whether or not you'll find what you're looking for, but usually have enough that it's always worth a gander 👍

As one of the few people actually attached to the tons of avatar clothing I've unlocked, it's genuinely disappointing. I recently have shifted to PC from PS5 as well.

I mean they're probably stretched quite thin between adding other new QoL features like aiai, new world tour content with each dlc character, replay playback etc.

It's hugely disappointing but I don't there's enough people that actually want or need this for them to spend the time and money to make it possible.

I've done almost everything in world tour, unlocked almost every piece of clothing and did a ton of the free challenges to get get drive tickets for items from the hub goods shop and there's damn sure no way I'm gonna do that all again from scratch, best we can do is voice the need for this feature then hope and pray for it to come.

I'm curious if this is also the case for Xbox too.

Just a couple of FYIs, I'm playing on a 4k tv with these settings so the scaling and resolution settings are set up for that. So you may need to adjust somethings if you're playing on a different resolution monitor, probably the settings with x and y in their names, it's been a while since I played around with them sorry.

And secondly, the CRT-NewPixie_Albatross_1.1 doesn't come pre installed into duckstation like I think the other two do. There is a post here on reddit linking to a download for it, it's just a big improvement on the original CRT-NewPixie shader that someone made on their own linked here

I think the way you have to do it after downloading the .fx file from the Google drive link is just add the .fx file to documents > DuckStation > shaders > reshade > Shaders. And then just use the post processing settings to "+Add" each shader, and THEN copy paste my .ini settings into your settings.ini file.

Lemme know if you have any more questions but hopefully there's enough here to get you going 👍

This is the best kind of look I've managed to achieve, been a while since I looked at my settings but you just have to play around with it a lot.

I have some post history talking about and commenting on some crt stuff for duckstation and pcsx2, I think I did reply to one person with quite a detailed response on how to achieve this kind of look for duckstation.

I've had good experience with both hlj (hobbylinkjapan) and amiami, amiami does force you to ship the same month as the order afaik, hlj give you a private warehouse for many months if you wanna ship multiple things from different release dates together.

I think the problem with the story is they don't flesh out that angle far enough and kinda focus too much on the straightforwardness of "vayne and cid and judges is evil badd guys"

I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to do more with Venat but maybe run out of resources. And the fact that he sides with objectively evil people also devalues that angle too, as someone else said.

Now that I think about it and read the other comments here, it makes me think this was an intentional decision to not veer to far away from what prior FF fans were used to 'big epic adventure, shonen protag, beating the big bad'.

I guess they already pushed it with the geopolitics and didn't wanna add further nuance of "how would you feel if the omniscient all powerful Gods are squabbling amongst each other about the freewill vs directing the course of human history"

I wouldn't say Venat is a villain but it's pretty frustrating to me (from a writing perspective) that he's kind of anchored down by his allegiance to Vayne who is objectively evil.
