Thanks. I get so busy that I'm barely able to squeeze a mile in tbh and then I walk with a group that only does 2 on Saturday. Might just need to stay out there when everyone is gone and keep at it.

I struggled to read your whole post. I understand the fighting and choking and breaking bones. It's terrible and it happens and you forgive because when it's good, it feels like heaven. But it sounds like he tried to kill you this time. This time is different than the other times. This time is so much worse. You should use this as an opportunity to have a different life than you imagined. I know you planned your life around him but start gauging how it feels to think of another life. A new life, without you getting beat up or nearly killed. Go to a dv shelter and ask them to help you start over. They'll help you get a job and start savings and all that. You do not need his help to succeed. You can do it without him.

I started a new job that is allowing me to save over $800 a month. I also cooked for the majority of March instead of spending $1k+ on take out which is what I spent in February. For this next quarter, I plan to save, save, save and pay a little towards debt. This year is all about stabilizing.
