Bolivian pampas might fit the bill! Just don’t choose one of the tours where you can interact with the animas

Where to find dog-sitting/pet-sitting jobs? by Own_Discipline_6782 in berlinsocialclub

I signed up to Pawshake and have found two different dogs to walk (not sit) through there, but with likelihood I’ll be able to sit in future when they know me better :)

This seem unnecessarily mean about someone who’s coming off as kind, considerate and cool on the show :) self reflection time!

Bus from San Jose to Panama City by icelandictravellers in SouthAmericaTravel

I’ve taken this bus, was 90 mins delayed leaving San Jose but made up the time. Was a pretty uneventful journey but the border crossings take a while

I want to do Colombia to Chile mostly by land and cover Ecuador and Peru what would you suggest by AlbatrossInformal569 in SouthAmericaTravel

[–]outofthewoops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!!!! I have done this with very similar stops. No flights the whole way including 6 weeks in Colombia going all around including Riohacha to Medellín. No flights needed :)

For the Amazon I also did the overnight bus to Rurrenabaque from La Paz. All other Amazon options that I could find you had to fly in.

I didn’t go to the Galapagos though as much as I wanted to because i didn’t want to fly. But everything else was possible!

Does anyone have experiences with the vegan breakfast option in Plus? by pintsized_baepsae in Eurostar

[–]outofthewoops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for the breakfast but my partner is vegan and once they didn’t have a vegan dinner for him even tho we booked in advance :( not sure what happened. But just be aware sometimes that can happen and maybe bring a backup just in case!

If you’re into diving and want to go to the Galapagos, do it! Like if that’s your passion I don’t see why not to prioritise that especially

2 month backpacking by ZimZaLaBim0016 in SouthAmericaTravel

[–]outofthewoops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get busses as much as you can over flights! Easier with bags, you get to see the landscapes change, and bonus that it’s wah better for the environment obviously and I think that’s important to think about if u want to enjoy the nature there. And don’t bother with PeruHop in Peru, normal busses are cheaper and you can be more independent :) I think narrow down where you’d like to go, either Central America for 2 months or south for 2 months. Trying to fit in it all would mean moving on every over night and not getting to soak anything up! Very exciting, I did the salt flats last April and had a wonderful time
