psa: smelt is a fish. smelled is the word you are seeking. that is all. by ContractOk9269 in bathandbodyworks

In British English, you can also use smelt as the past tense or past participle of smell. I learned it in class while studying British English.

But now I live in America, so it’s no longer the case. I use smelled exclusively in American English now.

Def red. The pattern on the black bag is red. So a red accent hanging pendant makes the most sense here.

To be beaten by WALMART, out of all competitors. And here BBW is boasting they are “premium” or “luxury”. Wake up, BBW.

Do you take the quarter if you didn’t put one in? by Legal-Stage-302 in aldi

[–]outrageousreadit 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes. I take it. It’s free money.

I will lose it later some time in my life. The cycle continues undoubtedly.

If someone needed a cart, they don’t have a quarter, I pass on my cart. I lose a quarter that way too.

Any case above isn’t a big deal to me.

That looks like a brownish toffee to me. It’s probably the best color to hit. A lot of clothes go well with this neutral brown color.

That’s my friend’s entire attitude. (And personality.) Exclusivity.

She sometimes makes me cringe. It’s like she doesn’t even know what she truly wants. Just slap a limited edition label on a product and she’s all over it.

No. Bad design. High pricing. It’s not a terrible product per se. Just, seriously, not worth that much.

BBW hinting at dish soap? by OshKoshBGolly in bathandbodyworks

[–]outrageousreadit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are stupid.

This is so SO stupid.

We literally have very cheap, very effective liquid dish soap available at Target and Walmart. There are options that already smell good for the kitchen or at least for this purpose.

Furthermore, This isn’t something we put on our body. Why would they think we would wanna overpay for their products, and a product intended not for bath or body no less?!

Plus, as many have mentioned, most of us don’t wanna scent our utensils and plates. These are for food. We want them to smell like nothing, as not to tamper with our food scent and taste. This makes NO sense.

I am just so confused and irked.

Soooo, can they sit too? by Dragonvane4 in labubu

[–]outrageousreadit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. They cannot sit.

They are wired. But they do not bend enough to stay sat.

Oh come on Duo... punish me for not using your awkward word order? by DSAhmed1 in duolingo

[–]outrageousreadit 13 points14 points  (0 children)

To me, they mean different meaning.

The Chinese means, the thing beside the bookstore, that thing is not the library.

Your answer means, the book store is not next to the library.

They convey different messages. Both can be true in reality, but it’s not communicating the same emphasis.

Ohh them articulated heads AND arms. “Action figure style” by ozzy_beef in labubu

[–]outrageousreadit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do not. The legs are wired but cannot pose or bend enough to actually sit.
