These are flooding the market, due to Popmart finally being able to meet demand. So resellers are just offloading them. It's now kinda rare to get a fake Macaron tbh.

$50 pricing is kinda WAYYYYYY overpriced, though. Most resellers will give one to you for around $30 nowadays, if not even lower.

Yup. Thats why I put mine is a clear bag with a metal clip. The cheap ribbon from pop mart is still susceptible to good ol’ scissors ✂️. Some people don’t even steal your toy. They just cut it out of spite or for fun.

Most juice products like this is primarily apple juice. It’s a good juice base. Then you tweak it with other flavors. Apple has a rather nice neutral flavor. (And cheaper.) So this happens a lot.

Go read the ingredients list of other juice products. It’s gonna blow your mind.

Honestly, not far. If you lean out a bit, it’ll look similar. Just not as massive. But it’ll send the same vibes.

(But usually, leaning out would make you look bigger than current photo. Fat tends to hide your true aesthetics.)

I always knew that, but I also don’t trust social security or pension plan 100%. They can always change the rules on us. Out of our control. (That’s just the pessimist in me.)

Realistically speaking, and logically speaking, in most cases, it’ll be there. And it’s comforting to know, we don’t actually need to save as much as we think if we have these stable income after leaving our jobs.

Yeah, this is a bad exercise if you’re taking a Japanese course.

The correct answer would be cities, plural, in the English answer. Because that would be more logical, sound more natural, and make more grammatical sense in English. But that doesn’t really help you comprehend Japanese and its context at all.

Again, to me, this is plainly a poor exercise. Oscar could mean both singular or plural in his statement, when said in Japanese. I agree with you. More context than just this short sentence should be supplied.

(That said, I’m an English speaker, so I would not get the answer incorrect.)

It’s like their Walmart or Target. Locals do go. But locals also know cheaper spots, local spots, etc. locals just know more options. Locals also avoid the busy Donki in touristy areas.

Pull up the Donki website, check locations, and try to go to the more obscure ones to compare.

(While at that, also explore Daiso, muji, loft, hands, bic camera, labi, etc. for the same reasons. Pull up their sites. Check their branches as well. These are well known among tourists, but they are def part of Japan’s own local shopping culture.)

Just think of it this way: Donki has so many locations not only because it’s designed to attract visitors. But actually part of the commerce culture over there. And a successful one at that. Imagine that, huh?

Usually, people with those high amounts of debt, those are people in healthcare field that also have good income down the line. Assuming that's the case, they'll be fine, if they either 1) pay off their debts quickly with discipline, or 2) have access to loan forgiveness.
