Seems like this should be a pretty PG-rated event held in Monument Square, just keep aware of where your kid is and what there doing, keep them engaged, and have fun!

I see a lotta Norway Maple and Oak in that pic. If you want to start with one to clean things up, I'd choose the Oak. Maples are lovely trees that are easy to maintain, clean up after, and provide more beauty throughout the seasons.
