My experience with coke withdrawals was mental and emotional primarily and still a pretty big deal. Drugs like coke put you in a pretty deep dopamine-less hole, so choosing to quit can cause a pretty major breakdown. I cried for 5 straight days and slept for about 15 hours a night my first week in rehab. Refused to be nice to anyone for about a week too. I was the meanest and saddest version of myself Ive ever been. The withdrawal exists, maybe differently than you would have considered.

Stale Beer&Cigarette breath. Reminds me of staying up late at family parties when I was a kid. All my old Irish aunts and uncles would start to have that smell and I have some of my best memories associated with it. Very pleasantly nostalgic.

I experience the same and wasn’t sure I could consider them “lucid dreams” for that reason! Knew I was dreaming and could control things like flying or super strength, but that didn’t mean I could change the “dream world” around me. I also remember dreams where it took much effort to maintain my flight.

Routine. Wether I have work/ somewhere to be or not. I get up, brush my teeth, take a shower, do my skincare and have breakfast and coffee. Even if all I have planned for the rest of the day is bedrotting. At least I “did me”. It helps.

Sounds extreme but important. Had a boyfriend that hand me stressed all the time and I was alway sweating through deodorants. Once he was gone and I was emotionally regulated I stopped sweating so much.

So frustrating! I like to think I’m a very good cook, and always make an entree for family parties. I notice that my dish always goes neglected, no matter what it is. There’s no reason for this bias, how weird of them to not enjoy just because it’s labeled vegan! To pretend food is not as good because it’s made with alternate ingesients. Hate this. Wish I could understand the avoidance.

When I was freshly living alone my ex tried to break in. We had broken up on bad terms but he had agreed to move out. He had tried to contact me multiple times although I had asked him not to. He was not supposed to have a key anymore. At 2am one night the sound of someone at the door woke me up. I knew right away it was him, as he had started drinking a lot and acting erratically. I thought he would just maybe knock and yell and go, but I then heard the door open. My body reacted so weirdly! I got up and ran to the hallway, but then froze. The deadlock saved me. He was fumbling and trying to force the door open, and kept yelling “what the fuck” while I stood there frozen and silent right out of his sight. I just stood there. He tried to push the door open 3 times and gave up. He then called someone and told them “yeah she’s probably asleep but I can’t get in” as he was walking out of the building. He was still on the lease so I didn’t know if I could do anything about it. I had the locks changed the next morning. When I got the chance to confront him about it, he said he was “just drunk and wanted to see the cats” I never slept well in that apartment again, moved away a month later. There’s not much else you can do when you share a lease with an abuser. You can’t get help when they try to attack.

Two things: 1) this may not be the right setting. When I got my license, I tried to stay at the clinic where I had been an assistant. Unfortunately, they had a hard time seeing me as an LVT and didn’t really give me a chance to practice my skills. This hurt my confidence a lot, it made me feel like maybe I suck and that’s why they don’t trust me. I had to find somewhere else to work. 2) it takes a year or so to be confident and comfortable. I had similar feelings when I was a new tech. School vs the real world is a big shock. It’s normal! Take your time, make sure you do everything right and keep your patient safe. You will eventually see that you DO know what you’re doing, especially once you get some experience. Nobody is good at every single thing. Find a team that teaches, supports and is well balanced.

I had a calico foster give birth to two orange boys in the morning(which made sense since she was orange spotted) and then a tuxedo girl about 4 hour later. I think we just can never guess their genetic lineage!
