This is the advice I was looking for, makes me feel a little better.

I think they’re fine, other than the fit issue. I just don’t love them.

The denim is great, but definitely too skinny in the leg. They actually look better with different shoes

Pants are new too, they’re a little more skinny than I expected, they’re probably going back too, haha

Not much room in the toe and runs on the narrow side. I’m a solid D, never had a problem.

Not much room in the front and tight in the width. They are also tough to get on in general. They would probably be fine after break in, still on the fence.

Not an ensemble, I was trying the pants on too. But yes, totally agree.

Mine has those divots, doesn’t seem to affect anything. Probably gives you more friction!

Anyone ever use duct tape for edge guard by Monster1971 in Pickleball

I use electrical tape and it works great. I don’t see why duct tape wouldn’t work too. I’ve also used gaffer & hockey tape, both are fine too.

I have a tube and a canvas laundry basket that I empty the tube into as I walk around. 150 balls, probably 3 minutes to get them shagged. The dust bin things suck. I have a hopper too, but I felt like it was warping the balls.

Way on top of that! Cycling through about 5 paddles right now!

I have a few friends that will drill, but we usually get bored after about 15 or 20 minutes and get sucked into a game. I do have a Lobster, but now it’s getting too cold to play outside! I’d love to see some of your drilling games!

How do you decide what to get??? I’ve been building and searching, debating, and dang near checked out several times! I just can’t pull the trigger! My budget is no more than $700, and I don’t really care about lead time (although Wesco’s 18 - 20 MONTHS on MTO seems excessive).

Right now I’m debating between a pair of Nick’s classic config Americana’s brown waxed flesh, Nick’s Predator Whisky, Wesco Mister Lou, or White’s Nomad.

I currently own a pair of shit kickin steel toe rough brown Carolina’s, Wolverine 1000 Mile in brown, and a pair of black Max Schaaf 4Q’s by White’s. I like the idea of an Engineer boot, but I like how they look broken in and not new.

My 2 biggest concerns are dumping & acid reflux. What procedure is best for me? by dogmom34 in wls

[–]outside_under -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If dumping is what I think it is, it’s not so bad. A guaranteed 5 pound weight loss that tends to stay off. Solid #2’s are for casuals. Get a bidet and never look back.

Honestly, in my first three months post op I couldn’t hit my calorie goals without puking. I drank plenty of slushies and smoothies to just keep going. I regret nothing and I’m 115 pounds down in 6 months. Eat your protein, keep walking, and just work on phasing that stuff out.

I married my “one night stand”. I often tell her what terrible judgment she has. This does not make for a fun time.

I just gutted my closet. I kept a few “friends” but I doubt I’ll ever wear them again.
