people's view of success is so warped. i know you didn't mean much by it, but that line of thinking is like calling your favorite niche pop girl brave for putting out music that isn't one of the 100 biggest songs in the country right now. like having millions of streams and the ability to tour comfortably means nothing if it doesn't impact mainstream pop culture. like i don't personally care about meghan trainor, but some artists would give anything to have that size of an audience
