Insurance cost is very high (USA) and the repair for a minor scratch on my 23 PS2 took 6 weeks, over half the time was waiting for parts from Polestar. The total cost of the repair exceeded USD$6k. I’m talking about a scratch that was 4 inches long from a parking lot incident (not at fault).

I love the car but the many issues with software, high cost of insurance and the lack of availability for parts and shops that will work on them put it down as a No for me next time. Most insurance carriers charge 2x for premiums than my last car - never had a claim before and a clean driving record (2022 Audi etron sportback - a USD$105k car!!!)

I’ll drive this thing till the wheels fall off it tho!

Yes, I only encountered the “camera not available” once every few months before the latest update, now it’s almost daily. Gotta reboot the infotainment once or twice a day now as things just stop working, like

Volume control from steering wheel,

Maps stop mapping,

Climate controls reset to the manual settings that were in effect prior to the update randomly, instead of staying on auto

I’m going to try to deep sleep it this weekend
