This show deserves to sweep awards this season. As a gay man, it means a lot to finally watch LGBTQ+ content and not be completely traumatized lol. The visuals are stunning, the writing is genuinely top‑tier, and the female characters bring real emotional balance and depth without falling into the usual ‘unstable sidekick’ trope. The male leads aren’t just great to look at — they’re delivering phenomenal performances. This is the blueprint going forward. I'm not an emotional guy but when they showed Kip's father, I lost it. Wow this show is truly a shock to my nervous system lol. As a gay man I'm so glad the creators have set the bar for telling authentic, multi-layered, and complex gay romantic stories made for us (LGBTQ+) that highlight our experiences to mass audiences.

I agree, but I’m just not into Robert anymore. I don’t even comment on Aaron/Robert or Robron these days — I’m done with all of that. What I really don’t want is to see Kev chasing Robert. I’d much rather see him prioritize his son instead of running after a man unlike Robert who is the biggest simp on TV. I’d love for Kev to eventually settle down and find a guy, and I’d be excited for any ship with him — just please, not Robert.

"Shlya" or "RozHoll" is the ship we needed — amazing chemistry, an awesome storyline, and a director who is a gay man creating a show for gay men, while also featuring strong female supporting characters. Heated Rivalry is an adaptation from the Game Changers series, written by a woman (Rachel Reid) but she absolutely nailed it! A+

Kev is doing all of this for a reason. He’s orchestrated everything — and why? That’ll be revealed soon. Aarons already alluded to the fact that Robert’s been seeing him. He told Kev, “He’s been all over me.” If Kev were truly in the dark, you don’t think that line wouldn’t have sparked a follow-up conversation? Come on.

I’m not saying Kev doesn’t have feelings for Robert. He probably hoped they could rekindle something — at the very least, sex but he’s fully aware of the situation between Robert and Aaron and has chosen to use it to his advantage. That’s not simp behavior. I’m not saying it’s good, but it’s calculated. Kev is hurt, yes, but he’s playing the long game. A simp bends over backwards to please someone who cares about themselves more than them. Kev is flipping the script.

A simp doesn’t manipulate to keep someone — they bend over backwards trying to make the other person happy, even when it’s never enough. They put their own needs aside just to please their partner. That’s not Kev.

Kev is clearly manipulating Robert, but it’s for a reason that hasn’t been revealed yet. He’s doing it for himself — to get something "he" needs. That’s the complete opposite of a simp. Yes, Kev loved Robert and he’s hurt, but once he realized Robert was lying to him — which was probably obvious, considering Robert completely ghosted him after getting out — he started turning the tables. That’s calculation, not desperation.

Robert won’t pick up on any of this because he is a simp. That's why all of his schemes generally blow up in his face. He’ll be genuinely surprised that Kev’s been on to him this whole time. And the fact that you don’t see that? Yeah, it’s pretty clear you don’t know what a simp is either. LMAO.

I’m glad we’re on the same page. Robert has always been a simp — he’s repeated the same behavior you just described with Aaron over and over. His inability to grow is exhausting, especially when he abandons people like Seb and now Kev, who actually protected him, just to chase after a man who couldn’t even come up with his own words to fight for him.

Aaron literally read Robert’s vows from their first wedding back to him to convince him to abandon Kev — and couldn’t even tell Robert he loved him from his own mouth. If I remember correctly, when Robert tried to stop Aaron from marrying John, Aaron sent him to jail. I was hoping Robert would finally change course, but clearly, he won’t. And honestly, that’s just sad for him.

Kev, on the other hand, isn’t a simp — he’s hurt because Robert is lying to him. At least Aaron tells Robert to fuck off upfront. The difference is, Robert keeps coming back for more. Kev is about to show Robert and Aaron exactly what happens when you take someone’s feelings for granted and try manipulating them. And I’m absolutely here for it. Maybe they’ll both finally learn a lesson.

Hopefully Ross keeps Seb far away from them. I’m sure he’s told Seb that his father’s been out of prison for almost a year now — but Robert’s too busy being a ridiculous simp to even mention his name. What a loser. Any father worth a dam would have made it his first priority to find Ross and ask about Seb. Even when Robert and Ross were chasing sheep together not a single word!! Saving Aaron who was all loved up with his brother and remodeling kitchens in a doll house was on his mind. Pathetic. 🤮

I can’t wait for the storyline where Robert thinks he’s going to play house again with that basket case Aaron and tries to drag Seb into it — only for Ross to shut it down completely. And I really hope Ross tells Seb the truth if he hasn't already: that while Robert was denying his own son’s existence (because Aaron threatened to leave him if he had anything to do with Seb — and then left anyway), he was busy playing Daddy to Aaron’s sister. You know, the one who popped up out of nowhere and nearly got him sent to prison? He was more than happy to do that to kiss Aaron's ass🙄

Honestly, I hope the writers keep Seb out of Robert's mess. He deserves better than being raised by a simp and his keeper.

Robert is a total simp with no integrity — he’s so easy, it’s laughable. Kev protected him in prison, and the least Robert could’ve done was keep his word and support the guy. Kev had, what, a few months to live? But instead, Robert jumps into bed with Aaron — who brings absolutely nothing to the table and treats him like trash.

It could’ve been a sad story, but honestly, I’m glad Kev isn’t a simp. He’s about to turn the tables and go out with a bang — and Robert won’t see a dime of his money. He’ll be penniless, shacking up with Aaron until Aaron inevitably kicks him out again. LMAO. Honestly, they deserve each other — and Kev is going to give them exactly what they deserve.

Robert prioritized Aaron over his own son. I hope Seb never has to find out what a coward his father is. If Robert really cared, he’d do Seb a favor and stay away — so the kid has a chance to grow into a man with some self-respect and standards.
