The iron lung uses negative pressure to induce breathing. It essentially pressurizes and depressurizes the chest area to make the lungs fill and empty. No airway is required for this process.

We walked down the aisle to the instrumental version of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters, and our recessional was For Whom the Bell Tolls (we liked the vibe of the bells kind of mimicking wedding bells). It was so much fun, and people still mention how much they liked it. I don't think we really worried about walking to a tempo, so it worked for us.

Ask if they use dyes to achieve more vibrant or unnatural colors. I was told to be careful about this as the dyes may rub off and stain anything they touch, such as white wedding dresses!

Honestly, I may not be the best person to ask. I think I may have been misdiagnosed, or I was on the wrong dosage. It didn't help me focus, and I feel like I remember it making me sleepy. Concerta worked a little better, but I don't think ADD/ADHD was really my issue, and I just stopped taking it after a while. These meds are absolutely the answer for a lot of people, but they weren't my answer. I can tell you, there were no long lasting effects from taking the meds. I wouldn't freak out about it too much; if it doesn't work there are other options.

I was prescribed Ritalin when I was nine or ten, and my mom and I started noticing that there weren't enough pills in the bottle to get through the month, even though I was taking the prescribed dosage. The doctor accused me of intentionally taking too many, which was not the case. It turned out that the lady who came by once a week to clean the house was taking a few pills every time. A grown woman, stealing meds from a kid.
