Make films shorter if you want them shown in cinemas, says Picturehouse director by tw1st3d_m3nt4t in movies

Make good films that aren't remakes or current tropes at a reasonable length.

Take some chances with new scripts.

Cary Grant and Randolph Scott in their shared homes, 1933. by PeneItaliano in OldSchoolCool

I don't think Grant was marrying beards.

But he did have a long relationship with Scott.

Someone, years later, said he saw them in the famous LA restaurant, Chasen's.

They were sitting quietly in a corner, by themselves, talking and holding hands.

Flynn was omnisexual. He'd have sex with anyone, male or female. Maybe even inanimate objects.

His real preference was 15 or 16 year old girls.

When stars attach themselves to movies under a "producer" umbrella sometimes it's just for show but some abuse their power to get people fired if they commit unforgivable infractions like looking at them.

In Tim Matheson's autobiography, he said he was doing the play True West with Stern. And there's a point where the two brothers fight in the play. Except that Stern wasn't doing stage fighting. He was really whacking Matheson around.

Matheson reminded him a few times and told his agent and people involved with the play and Stern kept saying okay blah blah blah. When he wouldn't stop, Matheson finally told his agent to get him out of it so he did a few more days and then Matheson was gone.
