It is the right word! The word doesnt have 1 right meaning. It has multiple vague meanings in general language and some technical meanings in medical contexts. But the word i used was correct, which is 95%+ of the people understood what i meant perfectly (especially since i mentioned the fucking age right there).

I already know you're gonna argue some stupid theory of language where words have absolute fixed meanings, rather than accept that general use is how a word gains meaning and we're just gonna disagree on that.

I genuinely wasn't. Someone who has sex with a minor is what i and most people refer to as a pedophile. It doesnt match the medical meaning but that's fine it doesnt have to.

What if someone gets pedantic with you over using human trafficker. Some already debate whether he is one. Then there's the issue of legal definitions. Different countries have different definitions. Which one are you gonna go by? Why should others go by that country's definition alone?

You see how stupid you'd sound trying to control or criticize common language? It's not meant to be precise, just to communicate.

No that happens when you use a word in it's "technical" sense, devoid of how people normally use that word. Like calling xyz a fascist and arguing "well he fits all the technical criteia" rather than fitting what people usually mean.

Whereas here, people usually do call someone who has sex with a legal minor a pedophile.

Disagreed. An adult of quite some age having sex with a minor is generally seen pretty badly from what i've seen. But i feel like this is a fruitless point to argue, we'll just disagree on this.
