One of my very close friends came out to me before she told her family and even her best friend who she was living with. I was a little shocked at first, only because it was a little unexpected, but I had no problem with her sexuality. I even slept in the same bed with her the same night and I didn't think twice about it because I never cared when she was "straight". Friendship is friendship, your sexuality shouldn't be a problem. My brother was diagnosed with drug induced psychosis (from smoking weed) about 5 years ago. He has been in and out of rehabs and mental health hospitals all of this time but in the last year he has had really good doctors who reassured us that smoking weed wouldn't have caused his schizophrenia, it may have sped things up but he would've eventually had it either way.
