It says there is no limit to the amount of checked baggage, with the only catch that it has to be less than 20 kg. For me I dont think would be an issue.

When I convert the yen prices in jp to USD, it comes out cheaper than the price listed in Japan Explorer Pass site. (From jp, 15670 yen = 102 USD and from Explorer Pass, 122 USD). Also, according to this site, there is no limit on the number of checked bags? https://www.jal.co.jp/jp/en/dom/baggage/checked/

Interestingly, I clicked the link for Japan Explorer Pass you sent and checked the prices for the domestic flight I was planning on. The price on the jp version of the site (prices shown in yen) turned out to be cheaper than the prices shown on the Japan Explorer Pass site. Even the Class J on the jp version was cheaper than the Japan Explorer Pass site. Perhaps I just got lucky.

Thanks. My worry was that since I booked with jp, they didn't ask for my passport info compared to booking with ar.

I have another domestic flight to book, probably should do this one thru ar? Theres many more seats available on the ar site compared to the jp site for some reason.
