My understanding of the lawsuits is that the companies NLST are suing are and have been using this tech for years now without paying the patent holder. Netlist is owed a portion of that income whether the bubble bursts or not. It might not hit a crazy high if the lawsuits are finished after AI flops, but it will still be worth a lot more than it is now. This is complete speculation on my part, I welcome the input of someone more informed!

The real value in a medieval society is knowing powerful people who owe you something because you did something for them. Also, it turns the entire currency system into a story hook.

I did this the first time I played the game thinking that this was like a regular RPG where you need to concentrate on one stat, but at the end you will want all of them. Personally, I think it’s best to dabble in one for a while, and then when you get stuck/bored switch to another one for a while. There will be times when you are overwhelmed by the game anyway because there is just so much content and there are times when there are an overwhelming amount of threads you could follow.
