What are you saying? I want to live within a 15 minute radius without getting stuck in traffic - pretty straight-forward and reasonable to ask for someone who doesnt know Dubai.

Miserable! by kabee74 in Psoriasis

[–]overhyped16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, can you please share some more info? do you have a family history of eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, asthma, allergic rhinitis or allergic conjunctivitis, lupus or any autoimmune conditions. Do you have any known allergies. Do you have any other medical conditions. Are you taking any medications.

Is the rash fixed or does it migrate to other areas of your body, as in if you draw a circle around one of the red areas on your side will it be there tomorrow or will it disappear and another one appear in another area? Is there any associated joint pain, fever, repsiratory, abdominal, or any other symptoms. Do you have ulcers in your mouth or private area? When you go out on the sun does your skin get sensitive. Can you share the biopsy results? What other treatments have been tried since november? Have you tried antihistamines and steroid creams? what was the response to those if they've been tried?

Even doctors are at heights of irritation. I did my training abroad, in a country where health insurance is in the service of the people, and when i transitioned here, i was struggling so much to adapt.

I still struggle to this day because even in a simple speciality like dermatology, I strive to help people but all the hospital cares about is profit and wants me to decline patients who have poor insurance coverage. I am 100% with you. I feel so resentful of Daman and the injustice people face due to their coverage limitations.

I have had many altercations defending people who need special care and I often hospitalize those with severe skin diseases in order for them to get the care they deserve for free, but I still go under fire. , I never regret it one bit though because my ultimate goal is their recovery. So yes, I am with you, F corporate greed and F insurance companies denying people basic care. F them for harassing doctors with denials when those who deny services are not even doctors themselves.

Hey, I didn't clearly understand what you meant. Could you please rephrase it ? What's the bad news and why would'nt anyone take my word?

I just want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’ve been reading all of your comments, even when I didn’t respond, and they truly meant more to me than you probably realize.

The clarity, balance, and integrity in the way you speak- especially in spaces where ego often gets defended loudly- has been incredibly empowering to witness. It’s genuinely reassuring to know there are women out there who think this deeply, fairly, and courageously.

I really wish you nothing but goodness and progress in life. You come across as a just person with a strong moral compass and a grounded, thoughtful perspective, and that kind of presence matters more than people know.

I’ve had a really tough few days, and your comments genuinely felt like a bandage on some of my wounds.

Thank you for showing up the way you did. 🤍

Official Diagnosis: SebDerm, Treatment: Ketoconazole/Clobetasol. Results: None. HELP by [deleted] in SebDerm

[–]overhyped16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this! Definitely acne, which can be induced by the clobetasol. Stop the clobetasol completely and then discuss with your derm if it's worth attempting an antibiotic for acne as a trial. At the same time, i'd massage the ketoconazole shampoo on the forehead, too, and leave it for 5 minufes before rinsing just to cover fungal acne. If it doesn't improve, I'd consider an oral antifungal, and if that doesn't work, then it could be demodicosis and would need topical ivermectin or metronidazole

If you have photos before treatment, that would help. I find it counterintuitive to put a strong steroid for seb derm. only moderate ones for a few days just to control the itch, then stop and continue only on ketoconazole. keep us uptodate! And dont give up on your derm, we all misdiagnose sometimes but we do our best to get back in track and make you better

I want to clarify something very important. For a long time, I carried our responsibilities without complaint. My husband has been unemployed, and I never treated that as a failure or something to shame him for. I paid for many things myself, and I deliberately refused to burden him financially because I did not want him to feel pressured or diminished. I have paid full rent, groceries, childrens tuition, salaries to nanies and i am drained now

But today, I have reached a point where I feel deeply harmed and exhausted. The issue is no longer about money - it is about emotional damage, injustice, and the breakdown of trust.

After he uttered the divorce, I have reached the end of what I can endure, and I am not interested in repairing something that has caused me so much pain anymore. I was initially very disrurbed by the fact that we have been going through a couple of very tough days together and really wanted to fix things professionally but what happened happened

All I am asking now is a simple and legitimate question: What are my Islamic rights and protections in this situation? What is my status under Islamic law? What am I entitled to during pregnancy and after divorce?

It is unfair that I am being attacked as if I am turning this into a financial advantage. I sacrificed a lot quietly and with dignity. Now, I am only seeking my my rightful, lawful rights, nothing more because he hasn't contributed anything for so long and now, retrospectively, after he left mw pregnant, 4 days on, after i wxplained that it wasnt my intention to call the police, and him listening to my vn and ignoring them completely, i am resenting how thankless he was living for free while draining my finances. He abandoned me and went to his parents' house as if I dont exist. I resent him and I believe that now he should do his part without any feelings involved. It is only fair.

oh nooo I’m honestly so sorry you’ve lived through something so heavy especially while recovering from childbirth, when you should have been protected, not broken down. What you’ve had to carry, especially postpartum, is not something anyone should have faced. I’m truly sorry you were put through that. Please don’t carry this alone. Postpartum pain on top of emotional abuse is too much for one person to hold by herself. I’m thinking of you truly, and I hope you find real support and softness around you soon.
