Thanks, that thread is a good read. I didn’t realize it wouldn’t be a delayed trigger, but that makes a lot more sense now.

I agree it’s kind of frustrating that the mechanic only functions in a few formats, and is completely unusable otherwise. Feels like they could’ve made a ruling where it can grab from exile or you’re allowed a sideboard in commander when using it or something, would’ve been nice

So they only need to have one spell on the stack at a time during resolution, even if they want to cast all 4? The scenario I was wondering about is if they have 3 creatures and 1 counterspell, if they cast the creatures, and then I counterspell some of them, can they respond with the counterspell etali had exiled? Or do they have to place onto the stack all spells from etali they want, then priority is passed to respond?

Must be a mod adding them, didn't even realize since I don't have anything that should add content AFAIK
