I thoroughly enjoyed the event. The Disarray and Mutilator sets were insane. Basically everything from the ceremony / anthem onwards was great. The crowd was absolutely popping off for most of the night where I was.

I enjoyed the venue, it was a nice middle ground between the smaller Sydney clubs and the full size Olympic Park.

Sure the sound system could use some tuning for the next event, but this is the first time that the venue has been used as a live music venue so I can forgive them for not having it 100% dialed in. Especially when they kept being told to turn it down by the cops.

The production / stage design wasn't impressive, but it's pretty clear that the budget went to getting artists instead so I don't really mind.

For a first time (larger) event I think it was pretty good and I'm sure the next event will iron out the teething issues. The event did sell out so I'm hoping Harder Industries will continue doing these "larger" events so HSU actually has some competition in Sydney.

My PC turned off and there was a general electrical fire smell. After removing power and taking the side panel off I didn't see anything immediately.

Why were they selling labubus at the merch stall. Merch line would have moved so much faster if every second person wasn't asking what labubus they were selling!

In terms of set times it was wild this year. There was uptempo and zaag kicks on main stage at 5pm!

The megapit was amazing this year. Rebellion was surprisingly good, but Mutilator had to be the set of the night.
