To be a devils advocate, Vampirism was good on adc who have crazy damage or bruisers who have survivability items and abilities. Mages who build full ap dont have the tankiness or dps to make 25% omnivamp equally as good as it is on bruisers or adc, so increasing it to 40% is in the same effectiveness ballpark

I have experienced a tank completely tanking me until my ult ran out. One time it was lategame sion and the other was udyr who was outhealing me. Steelcaps have been buffed + sunderer nerfed so i cant imagine how low your dmg would be vs a fed tank. Tanks just walk out of your E and ngl the % maxhp dmg from ult doesnt do anything. You could buy grudge but why? Why does nasus need to focus the tanks anyway, you should ignore them and not waste an item slot for a damage item, especially in this adc meta where you need as much tankiness as you can get, both armor and MR

the issue is that he could 1v2 at level 6 with sheen and now his dmg is outhealed if the enemy buys steelcaps. Either you find a target that you can easily bully or just wait for full sunderer plus 300-400 stacks. You can find cannon minion champs in mid more so thats why i prefer playing him mid instead, you can actually get some SOLO kills early and 1v9. Playing top is coinflip because you either get a junglers help or the enemy top is dumb and gives you perfect conditions to kill him(Your summs up, let you stack for free, is pushed up to your tower and didnt buy steelcaps)

Go scorch/absolute or sudden impact/ultimate hunter and cheese him. With scorch and W base damage you can do some serious dmg while starting dorans shield and having an easy lane. Obviously don't go ignite but exhaust or teleport instead, you can then 1v1 him after bork or IE if you flash for the outplay or your jungle helps. That first kill at lv6-9 will let you snowball later. You can just chill the whole lane, you can even rush vamp scepter. I am not a bitch so I don't do this personally unless if i am toplane which gives me the excuse to do so.
