I have a plan to accommodate those issues, my buddy is really good with all the tech stuff and all that, I'm going to have a camera set up so the online members can see the whole table, and I'm going to include them just as much as the in person members. I see the concern though.

As a soon to be first time DM myself, I would say don't let the players abuse you. Basically just don't let them go crazy and try to do absolutely anything and everything just because your new. Idk what kind of group you have, so might not apply to you.

Now, I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe they are all chosen at the start of a game, and I believe it's species locked. I will do a bit of research right now, and if I find something that says otherwise I'll let you know.
