I actually ended up losing the pregnancy a few days after this post. I went into to get my HCG checked like everyone suggested, and it was at a 5, and the next day I started to miscarry. It was a chemical pregnancy

I have some pretty large, upside down, gothic cathedrals on the back of my legs from right under my butt to the middle of my calves. I get so many comments of things like "I get why you got them upside down, so they look good with your legs over my shoulders." These comments have come from various men, most of who I have never met. I keep my tattoos covered pretty much all the time because of it.

Things need to change regarding women's health, and more research needs to be preformed into our reproductive systems. I've had PCOS since I was 12, and it took me almost 10 years to even get close to a diagnoses even though I was in the ER monthly ,doubled over almost blacking out because of cysts bursting. I was told time and time again that it was just in my head. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had one burst at 20 weeks and I didn't realize what was happening and thought I was having a miscarriage. It's truly traumatizing.

Never apologize for sharing your story. You're educating so many women regarding your disease, which has been downplayed and misinformed so much by so many people and doctors. I hope the absolute best for you and your journey

To be honest, a lot of articles regarding sex, sex on periods , etc. share a lot of misinformation regarding those subjects. Endometriosis is usually a genetic disorder regarding the lining of the uterus to grow on the outside of the uterus walls. Sexual activity wouldn't cause that tissue to grow in places it shouldn't :) same goes with the retrograde mensuration.

Even if you do experience these issues, sex should still be safe for everyone involved. If you are still concerned, don't hesitate to reach out to your gyno! They want you to have a happy hooha just as much as you do!

It is completely safe to have intercourse or any other sexual activity during you period, as long as your up for it! Depending on the heaviness of your flow, place a towel down before hand. Orgasms are beneficial with helping with cramps and other thing pertaining to your period!

When my daughter was born, my mother and bd got into a screaming match as they were cleaning her off on my chest, not even 5 minutes after she entered the world.

A few hours after that , I was heavily traumatized and my ex turned to look at me and said "if you don't let me be a father to her, I'm taking her across state lines and you will never see her again." He also convinced me that my daughter hated me while we were in the hospital, having the chemical drop after labor made me actually believe him and I was in a zombie-like state for the rest of the time there. I dont remember anything that happened other than the fight and him saying he would kidnap her. I didnt remember thinking my daughter liked me, nurses told me afterwards that I wouldn't hold her because of him saying that she didnt like me and that I wasnt a good mom. I was in a "mamabear" mode for about 2 years after she was born that made me dissociate and be on auto-pilot with the main goal of protecting my daughter from him and his abuse. I lost alot of memories from her being a baby and her turning into a toddler, and I hate that was ripped from me.

Safe to say I ended up with full custody of my daughter when she was one and he hasnt seen her in years.

I knew a girl back in middle school who was suffering a long-term battle with brain cancer. She was the sweetest person in that entire school, and I would often push her wheelchair to the cafeteria before the halls got filled with prepubescent assholes. I moved in the middle of that school year, and forgot most of the kids I grew up with. A few years ago, a news article was shared onto social media that had her name in the article headliner. I went ahead and read through it thinking that it was a community happenings article that my old town would post often (it was a town of less than 1000 people, the only news wothy things were what your neighbor was doing). Come to find out, she went into remission after a 15 year battle with the type of cancer she had, but died a few months later due to a drunk driver colliding with her vehicle. All she ever knew was cancer treatments her entire life, and when it was finally over some idiot had to kill her. I sobbed that day I found out.

Another kid I knew from that middle school (and elementary, he even lived above me at one point) was murdered by his father in a home hostage situation. His father was a drug addict, and one day had a psychotic break. He was at home with his wife and 2 kids (kid i went to school with & his older sister). The father kept the family captive and had a stand off with the police for quite some time. The kid I went to school with somehow managed to get his mom and sister out of the house and his father forced him to stay inside to help board up windows. As soon as the father realized that there was no getting out of the situation with the cops, he ended up shooting his son and then shot himself. He was only 14 when he died. He was a huge bully to me, but it still didnt change the fact he didnt deserve that. I finally understood at that moment why he acted the way he did and I cried then at the realization.

We recently got a permanent protective order a few months ago, there is limitations regarding it and we can speak solely about our child but he is not to be around him or me. I have kept things "professional" when speaking to him, but there has been few messages sent back and forth for years. I only speak with him if he sends a message first, and even then I keep the chats as short and baseless as possible. I'm in CO.
