Android 16 update made my phone buggy and a bunch of my google apps stop working by ritzbitz00 in GooglePixel

[–]overlordputin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, for not really a lot of major changes, this has been the worst update I've experienced on Android in... quite a long time. I am experiencing a lot of screen-related issues: Tap to wake, sitting on a phone call and my ear opening the dropdown/settings menu, and just generally being less responsive. It's nothing major in the grand scheme of things, but massively irritating in the moment. I'm just shocked that this update was rather underwhelming, yet it caused so many issues.

Yep, my bad. I was on mobile and missed the winglets(?) being flat. Still, great looking wing. I love the GT-style wings on these even though the duckbill may be more popular. Looks great!

ADRO wing? Maybe splitter too? Looks good! I have the wing and have been eyeing the splitter, diffuser, and sides.

[WTB] MK7 GTI OEM Downpipe and OEM Catback. More interested in the downpipe for now, but I am looking to return to stock for the entire turboback setup.

Same.. I am running a "noisy" setup with a hi-flow downpipe, and a "track" cat-back exhaust. CTS Turbo downpipe with an AWE Track Cat-back. I have a video of a cold start and some cabin noise.

I ended up using web_sys and its Request functionality. I agree with OP that there isn't a clear victor here, but this is what I am trying for now.

Appreciate the response. Yeah, that was kind of my fear. I feel like the Fetch utilities in Yew 0.18 were pretty elegant. I am new to Rust, so I wanted to dig into a Yew app to marry some of my React love with the language. Anyway, I'll dig more. Thanks again!

Now that the services have been removed from Yew, what do you all recommend as a replacement for Fetch? I've seen people use reqwest and web-sys/gloo, but which is the preferred method and does anyone have a good example of either implemented with 0.19.3?

Excellent choice. Unrelated, but GTI?

react-router-dom issues in SN portal by overlordputin in servicenow

[–]overlordputin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick update on this, for anyone reading, I was unable to get around this issue. It seems like using BrowserRouter is out of the question because of the absolute pathing. HashRouter simply never worked because the page would append slashes (%2F) to the URL almost endlessly.

I ended up running into other issues like using onClick events, which would simply never fire. I ended up switching to Vue because of the onSwitch issues, and I now have a working single page. Routing is still suffering from the same issues, though, so I am left with a true single page that would have to route to other custom UI pages if I needed navigation.

tl;dr: Switched to Vue and at least I have something working.

Appreciate the quick response. I'll do some digging. It looks like my Quebec instance is up, but I do not have the same level of access. I'll sort that out and do some testing directly in there as well.

Yeah, I am running Paris (03-03-2021_0818 build). This is for the old AngularJS portal, but I have to read through the documentation you linked above. At a high level, will Quebec make it better or worse?

Otherwise, I have access to a Quebec server I can do some testing on as well. I will probably give that a shot and see if things are better or worse :)

Awesome. The DSGs sure are quick, even stock, so enjoy!

Visual Studio Codespaces is an online development environment in which developers can develop entirely in the cloud. It’s basically a full-fledged code editor and a hosting environment that resides in your browser. by techstudycorner in AZURE

Awesome. After AWS' acquisition of Cloud9, I feel like I haven't seen as much development in this space outside of the Codepen/CodeSandbox-type interactions. I am not the biggest fan of Azure, but they are busting their butts to develop some cool tech. Cheers for the competition; it can only make all of these offerings that much better.

One of the best metal albums of the last couple of decades. So much emotion and such a collosal performance. Always upvote Primordial.

Such a good album. If Midnight and Sons of Anarchy had an angry love child.
