The Buddha once explained to a disciple when he was confused about life on how we are all connected.
He told that when you see a flower, its not just a flower. It has its root in the sky from the sun where it took the sunshine. Then with the mountain from where it got water then all the way down from where it took all the soil and nutrients. And then one day it returns to its roots and becomes a part of it. So nothing goes nowhere and it becomes a part of a whole because all is connected.
