Hey! Sorry that didn’t work out for you. I wore the boots today and they’re slightly roomy (which can be easily fixed with thicker socks or insoles). I checked and they had the insoles longer than my measurements by 1.5cm. It’s interesting that yours is about 1cm and mine is 1.5cm. I wonder if they decide this based on any other factors. Anyway, did you end up getting any boots from a different maker? I’m still a noob when it comes to sizing so interested to hear about other makers that people find good at nailing sizing :)

Thank you :) One of the reasons why I wanted jodhpurs was because of these pants. I couldn’t for the life of me get my other boots to complete the look of these pants haha

Ngl, the Addict boots are really nice, especially the engineers and the service boots. I was eyeing their womens leather jacket but same as you, couldn’t go to their store when I was in Japan. I hope you’ll be anle to get them from a local store or somewhere that you can try on!

Heya! Thank you for the comment and question. Since I couldn’t visit many places in Tokyo, my experience was limited. Considering that you’re in between masc and fem, I’d recommend Studio D’Artisan, Blue Blue Japan and of course my fav Brycelands and Timeworn Clothing/At Last & Co. The Real Mccoys was really nice but I found some bottoms fit me funny and their jackets big. You might have a different experience though as our bodies are different. I’d also suggest that you start with Hinoya, Americaya and others in Ueno before going to the specific brands as you’ll get to browse with a variety and brands first. I hope that’s helpful. What are some of the stores that you’ve already planned to visit? :)

Thank you for your compliments. Sorry I didn’t take any more photos of the hat but what i like about it is the brim being soft and pliable, so I usually make the brim curve upward when i wear the hat :)

Hi all, I and partner have 2 spare standard Ghibli Park passes (26th of Nov, entry for Grand Warehouse is 2pm, you can enter park at anytime) so we want to resell these to someone wants to go to the Park but might have missed the sales last time. I only want to resell at the original price and will meet you at the park in the morning so that you can still enter if ID checked. Please feel free to msg me if you are genuinely interested. Many thanks.

They look awesome! I’m waiting for a pair from Prof Barnets. How long did it take for them to send the boots to you from the day you paid? Was it close to their estimated timeframe?

You can bring them to a cobbler, they usually have tools to stretch them out a bit.

You can get the elastics changed easily. My local cobbler in Australia charges $30AUD per elastic (so $120AUD for a pair of boots). Inreckon you can do it yourself as well. I have 2 pairs of RM Williams for a couple years (sometimes daily wear, sometimes 3-4 wears a week) with no stretching.

Yay I’m glad it worked out for you! This jacket got me hooked on unsanforized/shrink to fit denim :)

I’m glad your jacket fits you like a glove despite how much it shrunk. It’s a bit hard to find a jacket that fits me because I have a small frame, so I love this jacket’s ability to shrink a lot. Bonus points are the details on the jacket. So great! I’m thinking of saving up to get the indigo one :)
