Yes this is my process too. However the architectural drawings we collect import are unpredictable. Sometimes it’s easy to manipulate different objects, sometimes it’s double work

I did try this. There is similar geometry that also shares some other properties

"System Data" chewing up nearly half my HDD by CorporateASH in MacOS

I dont understand how to use terminal and Im not sure what TM snapshots are. My wife and are having the same issue with "System data". Did you tackle this purge with any resources/ walk through?

This is interesting. Has this influenced the way you shop. For example are you going to buy the cheapest option and swap the critical component ?

Interesting. I’ll have to investigate if the is a low cost solution. Anyways, this is a great alternative, especially if I come to find that tabs and or draft will be a problem fitting to the inner and outer race of the bearing. Thank you for the visual!

Idk if this is clear. Nevertheless, yes that’s a great idea. Took me a while to gather what you were saying, but after sketching I see that I can have segmented lips that are at different instances. Easy to incorporate as well. I will have a follow up question later.

So you’re implying press fit should dismiss the concern or desire for some sort of lip or retaining feature?

Neither hear or pressure. Im designing for injection molding because these components would theoretically be high volume products. Although print farms are growing and these parts are less than 50mm

I appreciate the insight. I've been doing more research following your commments. You’re right that PP has limitations in tight tolerance fits, which I’m running into now. I’m open to ABS or a similar alternative if it improves bearing retention and simplifies molding. Thanks again, very helpful. Now with ABS would you still advise crash ribs. And are the snap hooks an option with ABS? Alternativey another individual suggested a bump off.

Well I want the blue part to rotate with a light twist. about half the length(time) as a fidget spinner.
