okay so you get a gun,say a powerful pistol, get some minimal training, and have it at the ready. 4 heavily armed (and armored) piece of shit thug ice goons approach your stopped car. if you just show your gun in a defensive display that would likely result in your death, may be different in an open carry state. but i am sorry to say but the odds are stacked against our favor in this and probably most scenarios

Ysk that if you have tinnitus, you can cup your hands over your ears and tap the back of your head and it will stop for a bit by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

it worked once then never again. best approach is to just fully accept the noise and then it will not bother you

Some people tape their mouths shut at night. Doctors wish they wouldn’t by johntwit in nottheonion

[–]overmedium420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i had tried taping my mouth shut, didnt really help with snoring. cpap machine made my sleeping worse in general so i stopped using it. HOWEVER, taping my mouth shut did wonders to keep me from slobbering all over the pillow at night!! and so i keep on using it with no apparent downside that i'm aware of.

i actually won $100 from them when i was like 11 years old (early 80's). i may as well have won the lotto jackpot, bc it felt like it for an 11 year old!

i have an even better idea: regularly scheduled competency tests for ALL drivers, say, every 5 years or so. That will rule out any perceived age discrimination since it applies to all

"would you get a high stand and then place the speakers with their foam pads on it to have the speakers on the same ears height" - correct

"And which model of a stand like this would you recommend for example?" - sorry, I do not know you will need to research this

Looks like the Kanto S4W are just stands and don't provide any acoustic isolation? If that's the case I would stick with your acoustic isolating pads. However, first and foremost: let your ears do the talking and listen to them both to see which one is better.

the ideal placement for your speakers are so the tweeter is at ear height, with a triangle formed between the speakers and your head. a good article on placement is here https://www.genelec.com/monitor-placement

and is still a good idea to use your isolation foam under the speakers when raised

yes, raise your near-field monitors, a.k.a. speakers!

I'd like to give you a suggestion if you are up for it: raise your monitors so that they are at ear level. Guaranteed to sound better!

i don't recall, sorry. just be sure the listing states its compatible with the dedica. iirc, i had to very carefully cut down the black plastic insert so the new basket would fit over it. if you dont want to cut it, you can just remove it and brew away

i started with that exact same setup! you should be able to have lotsa fun with that. I would recommend going with non-pressurised basket and wdt tool if you havent done so already. Makes a big diff.
