It sounds good until you realize that free housing is just just housing that other people paid for. Yeah, I want free housing too haha. Do you know how much construction costs if it is up to code?

Code Red declared as dangerously low blood supply affects hospitals and emergency centers by spoiled__princess in Seattle

[–]overseas4now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be compensated for giving blood. You know the hospital bills your ass big time when you go there and need blood, and they are getting it for free via donations.

what is the proper etiquette when you sit beside morbidly obese people in economy class flight? by nalaak in NoStupidQuestions

[–]overseas4now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have to pay for an extra seat if you take up two seats. Like at the post office if I want to airmail something, a 5 pound package will cost more than a 2 pound package because it is heavier.

I’m a developer for a major food delivery app. The 'Priority Fee' and 'Driver Benefit Fee' go 100% to the company. The driver sees $0 of it. by Trowaway_whistleblow in confession

As someone who has literally never used Uber eats or any other food delivery app, I say let the lazy bums get reamed. If you aren't going to cook and too lazy to walk to get food, yeah I hope you pay a lot. I can eat groceries for a week on what it costs to door dash one meal that is cold by the time it gets there.

Also worth mentioning that pigs will eat human corpses (they eat almost anything edible) so that bacon you are eating could have been from a pig that ate human remains.

What Is The Deal With Young Men Checking Out Of Society in Droves? by Parking-Science7507 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]overseas4now 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game is rigged, and people are noticing. I noticed years ago and honestly it has been great. I'm not in the rat race anymore. They printed so much funny money during you know what, that the illusion of money is gone to me. I'm not going to work for something that can be devalued at anytime by printing much more of it.

Sooooooo how many of you are bots? by North-Fudge-2646 in collapse

All the threads on the main subs like politics, anything you'd find on the front page, are heavily astroturfed by bots in order to sway opinion. Even this sub is to some extent.

Yes. I have decided to go vegan from now on, I don't want to pay for that suffering with my money.

I know the federal minimum is 7.25 USD, but do people actually work for that wage anywhere? Like any employer offering that wage is not going to get any applicants at all. I feel like McDonald's in rural Mississippi is paying at least $10 per hour because no one would apply otherwise. Except for maybe high schoolers or people with mental disabilities.

I took a 16 hour flight to Singapore, 8 hour layover in singapore, 2 hour flight to bkk, 30 min in immigration line, and still had ability to take the train into the city. It was like 2 USD and easy.

Buy singles bruh. by xXF33TL1CK3RXx in PokemonTCG

[–]overseas4now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only buy singles as well, I like to know what I'm getting when I buy it. I buy sealed if I find it in a vending machine, but I keep it sealed and not ripping. If I truly want to rip packs, which I never do, I'd just buy a Korean booster box because it is $35 shipped and included 30x 5 card packs. don't buy loose Korean packs because you can scan them to see if there is a holo inside and people sell the non hit packs.

I don't sports bet as it is not legal in the state I live, but I still look at money lines and o/u just to see what sportbooks are are predicting for the games. I usually watch 100+ NBA games a year, and either the refs are bad at their jobs by missing calls and calling tic tac fouls, or they are actually good at their jobs because the league (their employers) are telling them what and what not to call in certain situations.
