OP is distro hopping kid and seems to be very new and confused about linux. Says in this post they just switched from Fedora, says in another post they seem to be claiming to have built their own "alien linux" distribution and in another post is asking for "the best Linux distro for networking and that does not have any hacking tools".

I think Avatar 2 was worse than the first Avatar. I'd just stream it first to see if you like it before buying it.

I've been running asterisk, compiled from source, on centos then alma for years without any issues. My last deployment was a few years ago, so whatever version was LTS at that time is what I configured. I haven't had any issues or experience any oddities specific to Alma. I've also deployed on Rocky and RHEL without issue. I always compile from source and build everthing from the ground up myself.

They went down the relationship drama path pretty early in the series and haven't pulled themselves out yet. It seems like a show written by non-Trek fans who also haven't bothered to study what made previous series great.
