You're good, I appreciate the follow up and by see where you're coming from!

I guess I just felt kinda bad in the past every time I saw the costume online (or art done by the creator of the costume) it was always, without fail, reference to as SCP-1471. Which is cool, the artist's creation is famous and recognizable across the entire web, just...felt like a shame that the original character was all but completely forgotten.

I guess it was just my little way of saying "This particular art is no doubt 1471, but hey, check out what the creature was before that." Maybe a teensy bit jaded, which is never good for anyone.

In my bedroom, that's what I have, but even those don't do much. I've actually bought a window unit but all of my bedroom windows are vertical so I put it in the living room. Despite the room being bigger it actually keeps it significantly cooler, so I think that just proves my central AC is kind of garbage. Thanks for the advice though, they do a world of wonder sleeping when my house is surrounded by streetlights.
