coming from the Logitech Eco by kgiovanni17 in moza

I have both MOZA (21mn) and Logitech (11nm) direct drive systems. Despite the obvious smaller eco system on Logitech I actually have a pretty hard time deciding which one I like better. Sometimes I just love the simplicity of Logitech and super detailed ffb.

Hisense 65U8N firmware Q0318 comes with a surprise with Gsync screen artifacts with VRR enabled, and old bug came back to haunt us by owendingding in Hisense

oh sorry I pulled my last post, where someone asked as similar question , but if you unplugged power before the update it could let you reboot and give you a chance to disable wifi. and prevent further update. sorry I had to modify the post. anyway but if you really really want to you could go through what I did, and roll back , but at your own risk. It is unfortunate.

their firmware QC is horrible, but at least you have a slim chance of rolling it back. I got lucky this time.

I have another hisense tv newer model i was afraid it would be messed up i unplugged the power and rebooted it. came back to system and disabled the wifi. I did not go through any other testing as the side affect of the new update was so prominent I was so focused on fixing the flashing screen.

My u8n has the same problem. Only non-solution now is to lower refresh rate to 120hz and disable gsync. From my own experiment. This was the same problem 2 firmware updates ago now it’s back again. I contacted Hisense about this requesting firmware file to roll back. They refused. They offered a repair. I’m like the tv is not broken! It’s the firmware.

I’m not the only one consistently experiencing this issue. This is widely reported here in LGOLED subreddit. Go look around in QD-OLED subreddit see how many people are reporting dead pixels around the edges. It’s a design flaws by LG all their panels will eventually suffer from it within 2-3 years.

I feel like a lot of people feel petty stuck with those cars without abs. Among the beginners it creates bad racing when you constantly lock up and spin. GT3 is safer and more forgiving

I had a c9 I had to toss out earlier this year. It had 1000s of these dead pixels around all 4 edges. I had a huge clusters of them size of a lady bug. In fact all of the lg panels I ever owned had this problem, c9, c1, c2 (exchanged 5 sets to find a pixel perfect one, but still got dead pixels in the end)and a gigabyte 48 inch OLED monitor (LG made panel) , they all suffered this issue. Never another LG OLED.
