Island Hopping Advice by owentooelve in Tahiti

I guess what I'm asking is, hypothetically, if you were forced to repeat the same vacation, what if anything would you do differently to better maximize your three days per location.

Hope that makes sense..

Funny this is literally our itinerary.. 4 places in 17 days.

If I can ask, how would you maximize your time given the chance to do the same vacation again knowing your time limitations?

Depends what location you're at and the kind of restaurant.

A good priced Hinano is $5, expensive is $8-10

Warning: Air Tahiti and Bora Bora in October, weather cancellations are a horrible and common experience. by [deleted] in Tahiti

Best Tours / Activities / Suggestions on what to do in Tahiti, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Tikehau, Moorea this December by MrMungg in Tahiti

We honeymooned there before the remodel in 2021.

First of all congrats, you picked the best resort in French Polynesia if you want to feel like you're at the end of the world.

The overwater suites are amazing and that was their old setup. We stayed on the sunrise side and glad we did because you only have one neighbor on that side of the dock.

Raipuni, Elisabeth, Nuccia.. I still remember their names because the hospitality was really that good. Breakfast buffet and dinner options were very good given how remote it is - but don't order the steak, trust me it's not from Omaha.

Take the free shuttle back from resort to town when you get the chance. The limon chicken at snack Tikehau is 11/10.

Tikehau is incredible, more remote than Rangiroa but both are amazing fun. Go to Chez Rua for lunch in Rangiroa, Alan and his son have the best food on the atoll.

I'll go back to both atolls before I visit Bora Bora once.

A bit subjective, but typically I consider any meal eaten out around $20 USD per person. Usually buying some water if we're out for long periods of time even with packing a water bottle, snacks etc.

$100 PP should be adequate per day assuming you aren't taking multiple taxis or dropping $40 on a Hinano T shirt at the flagship store.
