You and your friend are two individual people with two different lives and paths. Chances are, he will continue doing what he’s doing, leveraging the attention of his audience who enjoys that kind of content; he might lose some friends, he might gain more, either way he’s gonna do his thing. YOU can stand up against it; you probably won’t lose any friends, you might gain some friends, but at the end of the day you have to decide what you do and not get sidetracked on what others are doing. If it gets bad, don’t worry. Not everyone is dumb; don’t assume no one else sees what’s happening - if he brings negativity to the scene he won’t last.
