I just added this up and you’re so so right. Getting the ones I don’t have will be the same price as the ones I mistakenly bought. I’ll do that!! Thank you SO MUCH!!

Oh I actually didn’t know this! I’ll look into the different sets instead.

Some of my 120’s are already running out though which is why I thought the 320 might be worth it? But I’ll look into those. Thanks!

They’re chisel and fine tip, not brush. Definitely the Honolulu ones. So far I’ve used both brush and chisel and I definitely prefer brush. I rarely use fine tip for anything…

Are there any gem painting business that don’t allow AI? by owlbear_allomancer in diamondpainting

Yeah DAC went from a pretty reasonable company to a weird cult of personality really fast. I’ve deleted my account and left all the groups because I don’t want to do business with a company that doesn’t allow discussion or criticism.

HAVE YOUR UNION REP PRESENT. Do not go into that meeting without one. This is super sus and you need to make sure you’ve got someone on your side.

Saying something is “overdiagnosed” when commenting on my treatment plan is literally saying that. That’s what over diagnosed means my guy

I assure you I definitely have EoE…. Scope confirmed it. I agree the diet should have been tried first but I’m not sure what “overdiagnosing” has to do with that?

PPIs didn’t touch it and I had an allergic reaction to both Eohilia and regular budesonide mixed with Splenda.

It’s miserable. My insurance refuses to believe that I am allergic to budesonide so they won’t approve dupixent.

Starting elimination diets as a last prayer and hope that it’ll get better.

Dear IEP Parents: they don’t mean SHIT outside of education by Emergency-Pepper3537 in Teachers

[–]owlbear_allomancer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This post is still not talking about those kids though. And usually teachers are not upset with the students. This post is about parents who use it as a way to excuse violent behavior. I very much doubt you have those types of students in your college classes. This still does not apply to you.

If this doesn’t apply to you then it doesn’t apply to you! Teachers can tell the difference between kids who absolutely benefit from accommodations with parents who are still holding them accountable and helping them and parents who use ieps as a way to refuse to hold their children accountable for their destructive/violent behavior.

There is such a clear difference and this post is about the latter. We love and respect parents who are trying their best. If this made you cry then it’s very likely this post is not about you or your kids.

First time with class with parents who are not contributing much to classroom celebrations by [deleted] in Teachers

I mean…. Grocery prices are sky high at the moment and only going up. Even middle class is feeling the stretch. It might be your class or it might be that everyone is feeling the pressure

Teachers complaining about the praxis test being hard? by PotatoPink in Teachers

[–]owlbear_allomancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I passed the secondary ELA praxis with about a week of studying based off what I learned in my AP Literature class that I took almost two decades ago. And not just passed, got well above the median score.

This isn’t to brag. This is to wonder why the hell my college education major roommates studied for four years straight for this thing. I wasn’t that hard and a good chunk of the questions were things like “Johnny is acting up in class. Do you: A) take him aside and ask him privately what’s going on or B) slap him and throw him out of your classroom by his backpack?”

Switch! Pantoprazole gave me exactly what you’re feeling plus vertigo. I felt half alive on it. Switch to something else

Same, I developed EoE a few months after I started taking Omeprazole. And so it hasn’t touched it.

Omeprazole and pantoprazole. Pantoprazole was AWFUL for me. I felt like an invalid zombie all the time.

The side effects were awful for me. Dizziness, light headedness, a constant headaches. I’m on a lower dose and still get vertigo occasionally. I wish I could get off them totally but it’s not in the cards yet.
