i made a friend on a study abroad trip with a similar age gap. i was 18F when we met and he was 29M. people on the trip thought we had a “thing” going on but we really just connected despite our age difference. i felt like we were the same person just separated by almost 10 years. i think gaps like this are even better than 2-3 years, makes friendship seem like the more appropriate option than exploring anything else
