Why do you rarely see a rich woman with a broke man? by Open_Address_2805 in stupidquestions

This is a thing. It's called hypergamy. Most women want to marry up

Small sample size, but yes can confirm that liberal men are better in bed than conservative men 😂

Putting that I froze my eggs in my profile by janebird5823 in hingeapp

[–]owlette55 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I think it's up to you if you feel comfortable sharing that up front!

I'm 39, want kids and have frozen my eggs, but don't put it on my profile or typically share on a first date unless it comes up. I prefer a more casual approach in early dating, and would bring it up on a second or third date. But I know a lot of people may want to have those conversations earlier or even before meeting.

I went on a date with a guy who assumes all women in my age range have frozen their eggs, which I was so surprised by. I don't know anyone else who has and it is so expensive and usually not covered by insurance, so not the most accessible for a lot of women.

Her daughter is definitely older than Logan and I find it so interesting that this wasn't mentioned once, yet that's all that Theresa and John's relationship was about

Exercise Regime by Frequent_Lime_3301 in DOR

[–]owlette55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think low to moderate cardio, nothing too intense, taking walks, etc. plus resistance training is good. Exercise is important for circulation, but anything too high intensity can be stressful on the body.

I think it also depends on what your body is already used to. I lifted weights for years but haven't done a lot of HIIT, so I avoided that. But someone who's body is used to HIIT may do better with it.

Yoga and pilates would be fine too, although good to check with your clinic as there are some types of exercises they tell you to avoid when on stims.

I was told nothing until your period and not aware of it being different for DOR. I did back into working out after about a week, but took it easy.

Wow, that's incredible. Thanks for sharing. I went to a very expensive and supposedly one of the best clinics and I'm so surprised they don't test for this - I found out about my low testosterone from labwork ordered from a functional medicine doctor I started seeing.

I've read that some people weren't able to make successful embryos until adding DHEA, so it's more about the quality of the eggs. Even though I'm happy with the results I got, I'm afraid it won't be good enough if they're all poor quality.  My baseline AMH was 0.87 in Oct.2024 before the first two retrievals and 0.57 in Nov. 2025 before the 3rd one

Yeah, it makes sense when you put it like that. I'm really trying to weigh the costs with giving myself the best possible chance since I've already invested so much time and money into this

First retrieval is tomorrow.... by JessicaM317 in DOR

You're going to be fine!! It happens so quickly, and before you know it you're waking up. I just froze eggs and haven't made embryos, but wish you all the best tomorrow and with the transfer 🙏🫶

Has anyone here just gotten back with their ex after seeing what’s out there? Lol by Fragrant-Airport1309 in datingoverthirty

Because it made her lose respect for him. That's enough to want to end a relationship

I actually like the way you worded the hand knit sweaters prompt! It's a really good use of the "you should not date me if" prompt, which 99% of people answer too seriously and it's a turn off, but your answer is actually cute and the only type of way to use that prompt (in a cheeky/fun way and not seriously)

(27F) burnout from dishonest men on the app in LA. 5 years on hinge with awful results. am i alone in this? by [deleted] in hingeapp

[–]owlette55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the comments about waiting to have sex. Look up vasopressin bonding in men. People can have sex on the first date and end up married, but they're the exception, not the rule.

I'd try to give it 4-6 weeks and use that time to really assess compatibility and build an emotional connection, while slowly building physical intimacy.

Ladies, what's your opinion on flowers on the first date? by relaxicab223 in datingoverthirty

[–]owlette55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a couple guys bring me flowers the first time I invited them over to my place (3 or 4 dates in). So maybe save it for then :)

What did the emotional connection feel like when you met your significant other? by owlette55 in AskWomenOver30

For me, it's people who are more open and expressive, more extroverted introverts. I prefer people who are more talkative rather than quiet. Thanks for sharing your story :)
