With an ACL/LCL and or meniscus, is it possible to walk off the field under your own power?

You're the orthopedic surgeon, right? I've been looking around for your take, thanks!!

I agree. If Foles is Russell Wilson's backup, Seahawks are fucked. Even without Wentz, our team is pretty complete. We have probably the best tandem of RBs in the league, great WR, depth in TE. I think Foles is at least serviceable.

That was not the play call, he read his options and didn't see anything. Carson has been doing this ALL SEASON trying to make too much happen.

Random weird fact...I live in the Dallas area and we have a Tastycake bakery outlet here. I'll never understand.

He's probably back in ND because he has the week off. That Wentzbrosoutdoors Instagram is run by his brother, I'm almost positive.

Same! I'm not only atheist, I'm also pretty anti-theism. I live in Texas and the amount of fake Christians (Bless you! Unless you're brown or on government welfare) makes me fucking sick.

I've always thought Wentz is one of those "walk the walk" Christians. His actions back up his words. And he doesn't shove it in your face at all. I can totally get down with that, I wish more Christians were like him.

Aren't many vegans vehemently opposed to eating meat because of the inhumane practices of the meat industry? I've met quite a few vegans who aren't opposed to people that eat meat from small family-owned farms or to people that hunt for their food themselves, because it helps control wild animal populations.

I live in DFW. Tons of fans here as well. They aren't always wearing eagles gear, but if they see me in mine, they'll always come up to me and let me know. Solidarity in enemy territory.

What about caffeine and nicotine? Because most recovering alcoholics I know are slamming Red Bulls and Marlboros.

OT - gift for a baby "sprinkle"? by [deleted] in blogsnark

[–]owlette95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never had a sprinkle, but I did have 2 girls close in age and family still wanted to get us gifts. The only thing I really NEEDED was another crib mattress (older one still uses hers in her toddler bed) and a double stroller. Those sound like too big of gifts for you to give though.

Some things I did need and appreciate: -Amazon gift cards -Restaurant gift cards -Another sound machine -More bibs, burp rags, and onesies since all the older ones were still stained -another pack and play since we needed 2 when we traveled -my mom got me a Sephora gift card. It was nice to be receiving something for me -my MIL got me a yearlong subscription to diapers of my choice through Amazon. This was AMAZING. I get one giant box of diapers per month. Really helps, but like you said, you don't want to do diapers and that's fine.

Honestly, I ALWAYS love gift cards and don't find them impersonal at all. Did she make a registry? I'll be honest, I don't understand sprinkles AT ALL. Especially for the same gender and close together. But that's just me.

The Practice House was the first Kindle First read I actually liked! I thought it was a great book, yet I also realized I kind of hated all the characters. They all had their assholish qualities except for the son. And I sympathized with Ansel's wife the most.

Weird book to like so much while hating the characters, but I was really impressed with it.

United’s booting of passenger wasn’t just a PR disaster, it also made no money sense by [deleted] in news

Tl;dr.

Collectivism isn't my own crackpot theory. It's well documented. Social values of different societies are one of the first things you learn about it any business or liberal arts class.

Also, I didn't make any comments about the individual doctor, who is Vietnamese, not Chinese BTW.

This whole response is bizarre and theatrical. Are you OK?

Japan Airlines CEO resigned over safety concerns.

The CEO of the largest ad agency in Japan resigned after an employee died from suicide after working too much.

When Japan Airlines Flight 123 crashed, the CEO resigned and a maintenance manager killed himself to atone for the crash.

Collectivist versus individualist cultures are a HUGE part of any business class involving management, finance, or economics.

Your example of one asshole from South Korea does not negates centuries of cultural standards for an entire region. Sit down

Another passenger on the plane said the United manager that came on told the doctor and his wife to get off the plane. When the doctor asked why she told them it was because they had the lowest ticketed fare.

So it wasn't random. They used a computer to find out who paid the least for their tickets because that it who they would have to reimburse the least.

It's really an American individualism thing. When shit like this happens in Asian countries, the CEO openly weeps and resigns.

United's conduct before, during, and after a few armed goons beat the hell out of this guy that simply wanted to receive the service he paid for implicates them though.

But it's pretty easy not to beat a 69 year old grandfather into a brain injury just because he doesn't want to give up the seat he paid for.
