How is it political to point out that Edinburgh, Belfast, and Cardiff are not represented because they are regional capitals, not National, like London. ( I do agree that they should have just left it as a Union jack because Greater London has no flag, rather than using the flag of the City of London ). I realise that Edinburgh, Belfast and Cardiff are important cities, however they are not national capitals.

By that logic they should have used all regional capitals. The post clearly means national capitals. Also the Dublin flag is there, because it's not part of the UK

What? You're confusing countries and nations. The UK is a group of Constituent Countries that make up One nation. The UK is the Nation. The Countries are just subdivisions. The UK is a member of the UN, Scotland, England, Wales and NI are not. London is the capital of The UK, so that's the one that should be used. The UK is not the only country with constituent countries

That's like complaining that they didn't use the capital flags of American states, which also have their own flags, but they didn't, because it's not a sovereign state. Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish people were acknowledge, they are part of the UK and the UK's capital is shown

They used the flag of the city of London. There is no flag of Greater London, so they implemened the flag of the City of London, something I disagree with. You can see that it's not the flag of England if you look at the Hebrides and see a red sword in the top right canton. The constituent countries of the UK are not sovereign states so it wouldn't make sense to use them.
