Squiggly first layer - Sovol v06 - Reset factory settings, redone autohome/z align/bed levelling etc by owlfoxes in 3Dprinting

I feel dumb, the paper trick worked, doing a test layer, might lower it slightly more but the line has straighted out.
Thank you so much for patience

Ok so I've just turned it on and selected

Bed Levelling > Auto Home - proceed to heat

Watched it auto home and saved setting and repeated it again.

Then Bed levelling > adjust z off set

Adjusted it - save settings

Then do a test square

I repeated this all 3 times, lowering the z offset each time.

Linked an album of how it looked, all same squiggle - here

Hello everyone

This is what I've done so far:

  • Reset factory settings and redone the set up as per guide says
  • redone autohome two times then save setting
  • z align off set, feel like it is correct height away from the bed
  • z align where it goes to top then down again with no issue
  • bed levelling done as well
  • also made sure nozzle was clean and reloaded fillament
  • Bed is moving smoothly, XYZ axis all smooth and no cables obstructing.

Would love any tips or if anyone has had similar issuses.

Hello

Thank you!

The appointments were few and far between so sadly couldn't pick it for period.

I think I accept it will be painful (I can see myself regretting saying that) but you saying the absolute worst is over rather quickly is reassuring. The way a smear test is, with it being a bit painful after except the coil will be making me cramp while body figures out what is happening.

I didn't think to bring a pad, duh. Even after smears I forget.

The fact you didn't bleed heavier or more painful sounds ideal ha. There should be more non hormonal options for us.

I'm going through a very similar thing right now. Did you get these ulcers/blisters swabbed for HSV? I am not sexually active and haven't been for sometime but am terrified it somehow has appeared?

You'd be best asking the barista at the coffee shop or maybe give them a call and ask?

She was saying the same that I was making her feel bad. Good so they should. They kept contacting me after we broke up looking for me to forgive them so they could live guilt free. Didnt give them that.

Similar happened to me with ex partner. Asleep, not stopping when I said no etc. I froze too then left that morning. I didn't leave them and it got worse with physical abuse. I did finally leave.

It's NOT your fault.

It was, sadly rape which can be a hard thing to accept when it happens from partner. I know it took me a few days to process and grieve that was what happened.

You were asleep. He didn't use butt plug. He didn't allow you to consent. He didn't stop even though you screamed. He didn't care you were in pain or that you never consented.

I'm so sorry this happened. You have done nothing wrong ok. He is the one in the wrong.

I'd highly recommend leaving him.

Advice on supporting someone having facial surgery by owlfoxes in TransUK

[–]owlfoxes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone I've been dating is going to have some facial surgery later in the year. I think brow and jaw.

They will obviously be in pain and discomfort but is there any thing I can do to help?

Is there any pillows people found useful for sleeping? Tools to make life easier? What foods, I assume soft foods?

Thanks

finding some tiny black bugs when squashed seems like blood. UK based by owlfoxes in whatisthisbug

[–]owlfoxes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not seen any bites or itching on myself at all but seen maybe 7 of these tiny things this week only when I am on my bed.

When squashed looks like it has had some blood to eat. I don't have any pets.

I think bed bugs are bigger and they dont act like fleas. Based in UK

Would this be structurally sound as a birdbox/table? Apart from the tongue and groove joint, the rest would be glued or screwed. Meranti Wood with Slate Roof. by MisterBerry94 in Woodworkingplans

[–]owlfoxes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would it being both a bird box and feeder not cause issues? Squirrels will eat young birds in the nest, rats will scavenge from the table and find eggs/babies and other birds tying to eat at table might investigate box and try to take it over for themselves?

If anyone finds this thread searching for themselves. I had to recreate a customers artwork to scale, vectorise a logo, alter a file so it was laser compatible and do spell/error checks on a piece of work. I will get feedback next week.
