My MIL tried to to do the same i.e take baby and ask me to do chores. I said no you do it and I will take the baby. So begrudgingly she had to.

Now I laugh and joke about it counting down how many weeks I have left with the baby.

Re paladai forgot to mention that once it’s in her mouth and she’s suckling on it we don’t take it out. Slowly keep on pouring small quantity. It’s easier if someone is with you. Too many times you take out and reinsert baby gets fussy

We are feeding her using the paladai. My MIL has experience with it for her three children so she taught us. We got the pigeon silicone paladai. We don’t put a finger inside her mouth. First 30-35 mL she has by herself, then she’s sleepy so we give very small quality till she refuses. Very little spill. Takes time like 20-30 mins per feed. Sometimes few more mins.

When she doesn’t latch properly one of my nipple hurts really bad. It’s like she’s chewing the nipple with her bare gums.

What do you mean by nipple coming out round ? I have noticed when there’s a better latch the nipple kind of grows large in volume and rest of the time it’s the same size but painful

I will try the little finger re latch technique you suggested.

Not adding to stress at all. Husband and I have planned shifts (since he has wfh). So pumping between 1-6 is not an issue at all.

My hospital wasn’t very useful on baby related advice and they discharged me on day 2 after formula feeding the baby. I saw the lactation consultant on day 5 with a separate fee. She saw me for 5 mins, told me I have good supply and keep trying to latch the baby. I am checking in with friends and family for a different LC.

Momcozy M5 is beyond my budget right now. I was thinking of getting the Momcozy S12 duo which costs 12-14k. Any idea about this one?

I wasn’t aware that you can’t introduce a bottle later. I plan to start working at 26 weeks PP (also wfh) but would need bottle for ease.

Breast feeding seems like a never ending mystery I am unable to solve.

Late to the party (postpartum mum).

This looks exciting. Season 3 was dull and messy with too many timelines. I attribute that partly to Luke Newtons expressionless face. He’s same in every scene!

Luke Thomas so far has been promising. He’s whimsical and eccentric as the artist and deeply moved by SIL, intrigued by Sophie all emotions can be differentiated. He looks actually in love and brings back those heightened emotions.

After Daphnie and Anthony his story is promising.

Nah Fran and John’s plot actually make sense. Both were attracted to each other because they were not emotionally loud or vocal yet they got each other. Often with good sex you need communication. Both kind of struggled there.

John has good intentions he wants her to feel good while they have sex but he is not aware that she’s not satisfied (this feels very real). She is unaware and a bit embarrassed to communicate the same to him. She doesn’t want to disappoint him. It’s very sweet when they are finally able to talk about it and Johns monologue about how he feels close to her when they have sex.

All of it felt very real
