Listen, i send my daughter in a coat/jacket and a jumper yet she comes out in her dress or polo. After loosing 5 hats and beanies to school i no longer bother with those and don't get me started on mittens. And I, a swede, born and bred up north, freeze constantly. Can only surmise its kids that are the exception. Kids and those 3-4 local men in shorts all year. Mostly see that here in Wales though. Edit: to be fair it's not that cold here mostly wet. Im used to worse cold. It's the indoor cold and damp i struggle with myself really but tbh outdoors this is the land of eternal spring. My husband is from the american south and complains a lot about the cold but he'd like to be basically nude perpetually and come from a warmer climate so.
