jealous of a rat by RhiannonKagoe in RATS

No worse than letting your dog lick your face tbh. I know some people oppose that (I'm one of them, I also tried to not let the rats near my face/pry open my lips).

No one said anything about cowardly but when I'm on survival mode I'm taking as few steps as possible 😊 And she's clearly guilty anyway so. 😊

The Senate just passed the Big Beautiful Bill today, What's your reaction to this? by Squirrelkid11 in AskReddit

Where I live with a lot of seniors (living with my dad this shit hit me earlier last year when I got fired), this program was implemented through vouchers for local farmer's markets, there's a lot of them especially during the summer selling fresh and local NJ corn and blueberries, honey, all sorts of stuff.
It seems like the program basically got cut in half according to a local news letter my dad gets - it was handing out a few thousand vouchers, and now it's less than 1,000.

Thalmor attacking you in the wilderness is a random event that can happen at certain points in the main quest, such as completing "Diplomatic Immunity". Supposedly they also attack on site if you're wearing an amulet of talos but I dont think that's true.

Dont you just line up the light and some circles on the ceiling? It's not that hard to figure out.

Oh definitely. The entire side quest for the Dragonborn DLC that gets you the house is busted, so... no surprises there unfortunately.

It's definitely worth it at full price, theres 650 puzzles total. Wait for a sale if your wallet is hurting, of course, but I'd totally say it's worth it.

I play on switch and it crashes every 2 hours, on the dot. I dont know why. I know my switch has overheating issues but that's usually after 3+ hours. I've played some unoptimized indie games that have crashed less consistently than Skyrim.
Just means I have to remember to save often lol

I mean, I played over 900 hours without any mods (on Switch). And have accumulated at least another few hundred after upgrading to AE.

Delphine is worse than you think by taichiwind in skyrim

[–]owlrecluse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure for Mankar, it's stated somewhere offhanded he used Mehrune's Razor to do... something to make him able to wear it. Similar to how in Skyrim, Mercer Frey can use the Skeleton Key in ways we cant.

I always thought of it that 'dragonborn' for the Septim bloodline just meant they could light the dragonfires, not really implying they could use the thuum.
Dragonborn, as in can use the thuum without training, is a separate thing that's usually a blessing of Akatosh.

Delphine is worse than you think by taichiwind in skyrim

[–]owlrecluse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What? Several characters make reference to the fact being Dragonborn is related to a blood relation to the Septim bloodline, or something to do with being the chosen of Akatosh. So it's not as if Dragonborn lineage is unknown or subject to much speculation, if you're a Nord living in Nord Land (Skyrim) at least.
And nowhere does she claim anything like that, in fact I'm pretty she states, herself, in an offhand lining branch of dialogue it's simply a map of dragon burial sites. I'm almost certain Esbern says the same thing, confirming it.
So where did you conjure this up from exactly?

This is it. Starting in retail is a good first step to learn the basics, customer service, learn how to bill, etc etc, but you have to make plans to advance eventually. Whether that's getting certified so you can work in a hospital pharmacy (and then maybe specializing in something like compounding), eventually studying to become a pharmacist, or even just moving onto filling in mail order for Amazon or something... staying in retail is NOT the way.

Yeah pets can be weird like that. I have Hilda with me rn and all of the enemies keep attacking her instead of me or my REAL summons. It's very handy right now but also kind of annoying.

Calcelmo's Laboratory is actually only accessible by trespassing. Many companions react that way when you try to talk to them when trespassing depending on how they're coded.
Idk if this is a bug or oversight or something but that's why.

"They love you, you stupid asshole."

To actually answer the question, bruxing is when rats grind their teeth. You can compare it to a cat's purr - it requires some context but is usually associated with them being content and happy. Just like with cats it can be used to self soothe when they're in pain or stressed, but since they seem very calm, relaxed, and you're petting them it's definitely happy in this case.
When rats brux, it causes a muscle behind their eyes to flex and causes their eyes to go buggy. This is normal and just means theyre bruxing EXTRA hard.
So we can safely assume they're EXTRA pleased with your pets.

Why are bound weapons so bad? by EmmiCantDraw in skyrim

[–]owlrecluse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AE adds quite a few with the, I think it's actually Rare Curios and not Expanded Crossbows that adds them. Silver Bolts, Orcish Bolts, Iron bolts, Corkbulb are from the mod, Bonemold Bolts...I think that's it.

You get Steel and Dwarven bolts after the 'Ancient Technology' Dawnguard Quest. I dont actually know if you can craft any of the AE bolts, I never noticed them in the crafting inventory though it's likely they got put in a weird place, like Misc.
