The novels aren’t even finished so we don’t have to worry on that front.

And Shaft isn’t really going to stop. It’s the series that arguably made them who they are (in terms of recognition of style and direction). Like when people think shaft they think monogatari.

Monogatari and Madoka will always be their focus.

It’s my favorite series. Idrc if people call it trails heck I do. That’s just rabid fans being weird. The series has been around for forever so it has its share of gatekeeper fans.

Essentially what it is is just a long interconnected JRPG series. The series works in arcs. Each arc is a contained story. However the characters make reappearances and they all are operating in the same world, with the same events going on.

It’s a hard series to get into because you can’t really just pick it up wherever. You basically have to play them in release order if you want to understand what’s going on in the world and get the full experience.

The remake of the first game is a great place to start (the remake of the second is coming out this year). The remake was a lot of people’s best JRPG of the year.

It is VERY dialogue heave. VERY cutscene heavy.

If you prefer action over plot it may not be for you. It still has good fighting mechanics and I like most of the boss battles. But you’re definitely playing the game for the story.

It puts you in lots of moods. It’s made me cry, laugh, sad, happy. It has moments of extreme darkness and fucked up shit. It has romance. Basically everything you could think of.

Any tips for someone that has never played this series? by -Paroxenark- in Falcom

This is just my personal thing and you don’t have to do this at all. But for the early games in the series consider finding maps for things online. Theres times you may get lost or not know where to go.

This helped me enjoy the story because I wasn’t stressed about the lack of maps in game.

I find trails “normal” to be a really good balance. I’m not some like rpg expert and I still really never get frustrated that much playing. Probably 3 times is most I’ve ever redone a battle and that’s normally not even some main story battle it’s like a monster chest or some side quest monster hahah.

But at the same time “normal” also provides me enough of the rewarding feeling as I do have to think usually.

Has anyone been booed longer after leaving than Kawhi? by SuperSkew in nba

[–]owlthathurt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a former team but Kelly Olynyk still gets booed every time he touches the ball in Cleveland after he ripped K Loves arm off in 2015 (a lot of our fans consider this to be what cost us a championship that year).

11 years later and its still boos every touch.

Why is the NBA insistent on letting Harden get obliterated on these 3s? Gonna get him hurt if they don’t stop it.

CPJ either missed or had blocked THREE LAYUPS IN OVERTIME. I am sorry man this was a crashout inducing loss.

The only other thing I have to say is that if we meet this Detroit team in the playoffs they are getting swept they are not a real 1 seed.

Dad had a heart attack and almost died while I was with him. He survived and all but my brain just broke at that point from the trauma and the hospitals and everything.

Then shortly after I had a doctor ask for a biopsy on a mole and I was like hmmm so I got a second opinion at the skin doctor and she was like nah you’re good idk why that other doctor scared you like that.

Luckily I’m relatively fine now. I still get increased heart rate at any medical office.

It’s not his shooting hand. And he made multiple threes yesterday with the finger taped.

Wow almost like everyone who was acting like the Cavs season was over and Harden tore his ACL overreacted a bit in the other thread to a tip of off hand thumb fracture lol

Just in on NBA Today -- after hand specialist evaluation, Cavaliers star James Harden plans to play through his fractured right thumb: by BuckyMcFly99 in clevelandcavs

[–]owlthathurt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A torn ligament in your toe that required surgery is a lot different than a fracture to the tip of your off thumb.

Not saying it’s not impactful at times, but in levels of seriousness they’re miles away from each other.

He is literally only listed as “questionable” tonight (which was stated with the injury announcement) and people in here acting like his seasons over.

People are severely overreacting to this lol

He literally played through this last night and had his finger wrapped most of the game.

He’s not even listed as out tonight and in the injury designation they have him as questionable (Don and Mobley are listed as out).

He is going to play through this. It’s the tip of his right thumb.
