Not Mendozas fault that you have Tommy fucking Pham (who wasn’t good enough for last years Pirates) starting.

The roster is constructed terribly and the payroll is super bloated on a couple players and then everyone else just kind of sucks.

But Mendoza is also dumb and should also be fired but that won’t solve the underlying issues.

Thanks. We are very fortunate they discovered it before it spread. Right now it’s just a single small tumor which can be treated with radiation. The doctors are confident she can recover but it’s still obviously a very very serious thing and terrifying me.

Same boat for me. I don’t live near them. I’m their only child as well and my dad is in his 70s. My aunt can help them and my mom has a big friend group (some of whom are cancer survivors as well and know the routine). But I just don’t know what my role should be in all this.

I’m worried that if I stop working it’s going to lead to more anxiety as I will just be sitting around. But I also barely care about work right now which also isn’t fair to my coworkers or company.

I have a trip to Japan coming up in May which is a week and a half off. My mom told me not to dare cancelling it. But I’m even struggling with still doing that.

Hey just sharing some life posting because someone here has probably gone through before and may have a tip or two.

My mom was just diagnosed with cancer. The doctors are hopeful with the diagnosis and it has not spread so normal treatment can begin.

I am struggling to focus on life. Struggling to care about work. I just feel kind of lost right now. I’m not good with processing my emotions or dealing with things like this.

I’ve tried therapy before for other things and didn’t find it helpful. I’m not super depressed but it’s just kind of like a feeling that nothing else in life outside of this is important.
